Truly, I don't care about extreme quickness. I haven't taken my car over 102 mph and anything over 360hp is fine enough for me. I just like a fun car and the M5 is like a fun jet fighter, it makes all types of popping noises, you can hear the gear changing by itself , it's over- built and very well appointed ,the cold start is amazing, almost ceremonial,etc. I would sleep behind the wheel of the Tesla. I appreciate you guys buying it though.

Do it, man. Just get a CPO 2013/2014 with the extended maintenance plan. I can't say it enough, it's like flying a fighter jet all day. The downside is that you just can't go out on a mellow cruise with your wife, it always begs to be stomped on. It farts and pops all over the place and the DCT transmission is a marvel.
