The only one I'm willing to call a "snub" is young Abraham Attah for "Beasts of no Nation". He was brilliant in that film, and the final scene sold me on him as a young phenom. Jason Mitchell from "Compton" and Idris Elba in "Beasts of no Nation" also gave nomination-worthy performances, but as usual the supporting actor category was stacked.

Will Smith playing that Nigerian doctor with a South African accent was like watching Nelly play Master P with a New York accent. I just couldn't get past it. I'll have to watch whole movie on Netflix.
Also looking for validation from white people is self-worth suicide.
