No Oscar nod for Will Smith

Din't get to see it but I don't think it was either a money maker critical darling or built up the controversial NFL buzz they THOUGHT it would.

And they WANT Leo to win, along with Stallone for supporting actor.

I would not be surprised if Inside/Out not only gets nominated but actually WINS.

That film was wack. Dre punking Suge in a room full of Suge's goons? Yeah, OK. Film didn't deserve any nominations.

Creed did though, that got snubbed for Best Picture, Director and Actor.
Stalone got a nod for supporting actor. Creed isn't that good to hold its own against movies like the Revnant, Martian, and Mad Max

They can nominate up to Ten films. So Bridge of Spies and Brooklyn are better/more deserving? Fuck outta here

My friend i loved Creed, and paticularly the main actors inspiring performance but the movie itself was not oscar movie worth, in no technical categories and especially not movie of the year. Not even sure how Stallone would get supporting actor nomination over Michael for a main.

MB Jordan was the main actor. The film should have gotten a nomination for Best Picture. With them lengthening the field to Ten films, it should have at least cracked that.

The film has had a ton of praise, and for it to be snubbed lime this is shameful. Coogler is the one responsible for getting that performance from Stallone.

Will needs to switch it up. He's has never pulled a Ray and disappeared into a character.

It's time to play a villain or sonething.

Nah, Creed was very nostalgic and entertaining, but to win or crack in the top movies at the oscars it has to be more than that, the technical aspects of the movie dont measure up to the others in the list that made it.

Let's be honest, Will is not that great an actor. Plus the oscars are a popularity contest, the real awards are at the box office. Star Wars could give a fuck about oscars while they keep stacking.
To the studio maybe, but those accolades matter big time to the actual people involved in the making of the film, theres nothing better than being awarded the best of the best in your specific category amongst your peers.

Two totally different categories. Jordan's competition for Best Actor was Bryan Cranston, Matt Damon, DiCaprio, Redmayne, and Fassbender. He was good in Creed, but I wouldn't take any of those guys off the Best Actor list.

Stallone's competition for Best Supporting was a lot thinner. Hardy for Revenant, Mark Rylance, Christian Bale and Mark Ruffalo.

Not totally surprised Straight Outta Compton didn't get a Best Picture Nod. Universal seems like they let the buzz completely die down. I would have taken it over The Martian.

And ya'll wanna talk about snubs, what about Ridley Scott? Lol... they just gone fuck with him. The Martian got nominated for Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Screenplay, but no recognition for the director.

I'm going to let you guys know something as to why movies like Creed and Straight Outta Compton didn't get these nominations.....The categories are mostly voted on by the Hollywood foreign press association and we all know how well movies with people of color all in leads do with those folks.
