I retired from one of the major railroads in the country.. and I was an engineer , meaning I actually drove the train . I hit a lot of deer, cows and small animals , racoons possum , whatever got in the way . That locomotive alone weighs a minimum of 200 tons by itself and most trains have 2 locomotives on the front and one in the rear pushing up to 145 cars , empty cars weigh 10 - 15 tons .....traveling at 50 to 70 mph , its hard as a motherfucker to stop ...if something is in the way the best thing you can do it blow the horn because it isn't stopping right away . R I P donkey .
