So I'm invited to someone's house by some female and her guy friend. We get inside and there are small kids on the floor around the small home. About 7 people there and they're all sitting in a small room, no music or tv or nothing. Then they go into the bathroom in pairs and what I suspect is they smoke a crack pipe. But I knew they were doing drugs. Then when we left, old girl confirmed it.

I felt like I was in a very bad situation should they ask me if I wanted a turn and i say no, it might be ugly. I see the toddler on the bed, asleep and feel for her badly, like I needed to do something about this. I see these kids and all the adults around them on drugs. Something must be done.

This is a small city, the police love drama. So if I should snitch it will be noticed. This is the god-honest truth so I'm gonna ask what should be done next?

gott Damn, that's some crazy shit right there. I mean, I'd want to snitch myself, but in a small town. I'd have to move out before I do that. Crazy shit is that your own friends think that it's OK to do this shit. I can't believe people are still smoking crack nowadays, but damn........Fuck it I'd tell child services. I'd risk my well being to save another child. Nothing wrong in doing that. As long as you don't make it obvious.

I say this becaue imagine that child's life once it starts realizing where they are. in a Crack house. sooner or later it will happen. I'd rather give that kid to a better home.

Unless you plan on physically doing something to stop them yourself. I suggest that you either call child protection or the police. After that, matters will be handled.

If you don't feel like the child is in any immediate danger, you could wait a couple of weeks or months before you call the authorities to distance yourself from the "snitch" label.

First of all, who was the "some girl and her guy friend?" Sounds like you didn't know them too well if at all. Did the girl and guy friend hit the bathroom? Did you know anyone else there? If none of those people are real friends of yours then it's easier to step away and not get involved personally. You could chalk it up to life in the city and move on.

If your conscious is bothering you because of the kids then you can call Social Services and anonymously tell them about an unsafe environment for kids in a known drug home. Or you could get that "some girl and her guy" to do something. Since you don't know the whole situation it might be best to let the shit lay. Either you get involved or you don't. Up to you.

The Foster care system is as fucked up if not MORE fucked up than whatever they are dealing with.

The girls more than likely end up raped, the boys a lot of times end up molested. Most foster kids will usually be diagnosed ADHD, ADD, or whatever the fuck so the Foster "parents" can get even more money!
