The Wii was not a flop but the wii u was because it was the same thing it just had a screen sontroller

Hopefully the joy cons are sturdier than the 1st ones. Those things broke way too often
The Nintendo Wii gets played more than the switch in my house to the point where I sold it and my kid didn't even care.
Making the screen bigger isn't going to make anyone buy it because most times no one I know used it that way.
Nintendo should scrap it and dig deeper in their bag and pull out something magical like they did with the wii if not just keep working.

Why would they scrap the follow-up to the third best selling console of all time(just 10 mil units shy of #1) the switch has proven to be a juggernaut and the 2 is going to do numbers, especially with Mario kart world at launch
Interesting thought on the screen, you don't know anyone who plays in handheld irl and idk anyone who plays docked lol I've never even hooked up the HDMI cable to see how it looks.
I was expecting 500 so I'm not sticker shocked, makes sense and imo when compared to the steam deck it makes sense price wise.
For that price, I rather get a Steam Deck Oled. You can emulate switch games, play pc games, and have an oled display.
Games are $80

They won't go the Sega route because their shit still sells. All those games they announced will sell 10 million and get GOTY consideration.
Sega went the route they did because they ultimately never recovered from the Sega CD, 32X, and Saturn.
Microsoft seems to be headed down the Sega route at this point.
