Edison one of the reason tesla never got any shine. Edison turned down the nobel prize because they wanted to give it to both him and tesla.

I'm just familiar with what is on public record. The guy was clearly way ahead of his time to the point not even his contemporaries could understand his work. It's just amazing he does not get the same type of shine your Einstein and Edison get. Edison was in bed with the power elite and because of it he shut down anything Tesla was doing that would endanger the status quo (especially his concept of free energy).


The government ridiculed his work and his eccentricities but they made damn sure they scooped up all his notes after he died in the hopes of broadening the military industrial complex.
