Nicki's response to Remy #NoFrauds Feat. Drake and Wayne

strategic. he bigged up ar-ab and set philly against itself. so at a time where the city shlda been behind meek, everybody was turning against each other. 50 used to do this alot.

Meek took the bait. Ab didn't do shit. Meek's dumb ass took it as disrespect

i like pap. hes nicer than meek.

pap's control response to kendrick was mehhh tho.

can you point to another track where he sent hard bars directly @ somebody? i cant.
He doesn't need a track where he went at somebody.

His body of work speaks for itself when it comes lyrics. Does Drakes?

they have a playful back and forth that goes back years. there's articles written on it.

one of drakes first shots was "That’s around the time that your idols become your rivals/You make friends with Mike but got to A.I. him for your survival."

as far as the pic, stop it. ur getting desperate now. that pic was taken in 2013. we made it came out in 2014.
the pic came out during an all-star game. right after Drake made the comments about Jay mentioning art (before We Made It). After that, Jay called him Miss. Drizzy. No reaching, check the time line.

Fam you seriously think Pap is Meek level? And Drake can respond to something like this?

Or This?

BTW he did mention Kendrick and Big Sean in this....

What will happen is mainstream will see what he can do. Same thing with Remy people who not part of the culture foreal started checking like wait... This chick is raw. She was in 7 years. 20 year olds were low teens and never heard of her.

u said the miss drizzy line was first, then drake served them.

the pic was from '13 all star weekend
the song (we made it) dropped the next year in '14

by the way i dont think drake will ever be as nice as hov but just the fact that jay even entertains this back and forth competition w/ the young dude tells u that there is respect there.

in fact most of u cats fave mc's from wutang members, jay, joe budden, kanye others respect drakes pen & been in the studio w/him. bgol feels differently...
ok, you right, i got my facts twisted, but, something did happen between them before that pic.

i don't care who my favorite rapper likes. He doesn't have my ears and doesn't speak for me.

jay beefed with Jim Jones......Jay responding to someone that started with him, doesn't mean he respects them. he's probably just bored.

never said pap is on meek level. i said i never heard pap go at another artist effectively... have u?

He talks about big Sean and Kendrick in this......

Pap suffers from being into the culture too much lol.. He is not a Pop artist and never doesnt want that lane. Thats what Im saying to you. If he gets dragged into people are gonna say oh snap this cat is nice. The people that don't know about him.... He benefits more cause what he drops will not be wack. The Kendrick diss was decent but there was no back and forth. None of that cats he called out came back at him.

Drake has the Meek thing under his belt... Thats it. Meek was not some worthy opponent. Jay calling him Ms Drizzy lets you know where he stands with the gate keepers.

when it comes to battle, i havent heard anything from pap that makes me feel like hes built for that.

its different from just spitting 100 bars. he failed at it vs kendrick. failed vs uncle murda. hes not built to battle, i dont think.
Everyone you just named are miles beyond Meek.

Yet that's who Ms Drizzy went after..

Why go after the weakest one?

There's nothing that suggests Pap won't give Drake the business.

Wet = bloody clothes = dead. He’s saying Drake never hurt anyone, and his tough-guy braggadocio is laughable.

Drake hails from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Not exactly Watts – or the South Side of Chicago.

Canada Dry is a brand of sodas and ginger ale. (Ginger ale is light and sweet and it’s also “pop” = soda or “pop” as in Drake’s true genre.)

drake also handled common when common came at him for smashing serena...
like i said, dude catches bodies when need be. he's not the aggressor but he handles his biz. i respect it and so do lots of the most respected cats in the game.

but regardless im looking forward to seeing pap jump in and see where it goes. i just think its funny that yall keep calling dude soft/ weak and hes actually a battle tested mc w/ the respect of the og's.

The fact you think he handled common is hilarious.
Your cloudy vision because your a true fan. Like I said dude has some nice songs. But to call him a battle tested MC is pushing it.

People call him soft cause he is, that's his lane RNB type rap.

drake bodied common on stay schemin but ill accept its a matter of choice.

now watch this.... please post a time when pap really went to war on a track other than the weak kendrick response... i'll wait.
Bodied? No. What did he say of substance that would make people ohh and ahh? The beat was hot though, as with all rap songs these days. No memorable lines in there.

Interesting if you REALLY study it?

Kendrick Pusha Jay Z and Common all put the 6 god FIRMLY in check.

which interestingly enough?

Is a BIGGER condemnation of Meek Mill inability to do so

than Aubrey...

damn the 6 god wins yet again.

I answered your question about Papoose already yet never received a response on Drake but we're spinning wheels here.

I responded earlier to this but deleted it cause I felt it was disrespectful. You have your opinion on Drake and if you think he's a battled tested emcee or can hang with the best of them in the ring because the rappers everyone likes have respect for his pen or whatever than cool.

You'll probably never convince the hip hop community of that one, but it's your opinion so no harm no foul.

I for one have zero respect for Aubrey and his "bars." Never have and never will at this point.

I'd battle him myself if given the chance.

lol the hiphop community is 4 cats on bgol that have a vendetta against some guy from canada?

u dont have to respect the guy. im sure he's gonna do ok without ur cosign.

the kid is at the top of the foodchain sales wise while the vets and those in the culture who matter still respect his pen. that's rare to have both. dont think that been the case since jay was killing the charts for 10-11 summers.

good to hear that you'll battle drake given the chance. lets keep our fingers crossed.
The convo extends far beyond BGOL, don't get that twisted. I have yet to come across a grown contingent that capes for dude in this manner but do you.

Hip hop will still be here long after the dude fades away and nobody's gonna be rushing to crown the Canadian the king..

Well you might.

bro i was listening to eric b & rakim in a walkman before u could talk most likely.

i have a diverse group of ppl i fuck with. some are fans others are not. all im referring to are hiphop heads. i like what i like musically and give 0 fucks about what the crowd thinks. ppl tend to respect that.

i didnt call him king. i said he will embarrass papoose if he jumps into the ring w/ remy. i stand behind it. cool thing about the written/ typed word is we can look back and see if im off or not.
It's all good fam. You can stand behind Drake all you want. I'm not knocking you for it. I just simply don't understand it despite the great lengths you've taken in defending the man, which is fine as well. Nor how he can hang with pretty much anyone who holds some sort of lyrical ability.

As I stated earlier, and in several threads prior involving the imposter, I hope he goes after more people with lyrical clout and not just sift thru the lowered bar of rappers out there.

Hip hop could use that.

u can knock me or not knock me. i stand by it. like i said, he's well respected within the culture. not sure bgol matters that much in the grand scheme.

i agree. i really hope pap jumps out there. itd be a good show seeing this lyrical bk street veteran having trouble handling the soft suburban canadian kid.

lol if meek handled drake, u clowns would never stop talkin about it but now that meek got ethered hes the lower bar of rappers out there. u guys are funny. hopefully pap jumps...
Using your analogy, the beautiful thing about spoken word is that there's a record of it.

I implore you to scour this or any site and find excatly where I stated Meek was a solid rapper to begin with. That dude has been garbage and will always be garbage. My words. I don't remember many inside the realm of spitters who were checking for Meek Mills to begin with but I digress.

That Drake/Meek thing was the softest "battle" to date. So soft it wasn't worth paying attention to.

Drake didn't beat Meek so much as Meek beat himself...I wouldn't underestimate Drake because he has a way of exceeding expectations when you think he about to get embarrassed...however, Meek was so pitiful in that battle that I wouldn't give Drake big props off of that

that was fair and balanced as f*ck

To be fair...Meek was never wack.

He was good for what he did...very good.

That hard street rap but actually lyrical.

Ain't nobody gonna say a Philly cat can't rap.

He had hits could battle and signed with Rawse.

His screaming and shouting and watch references and constant wannabe drug tales could get irritating but his mixtapes were damn near classics and he had solid features

One of my favorite records till this day from him is Amen with Drake.

Meek off field behavior hurt more than anything...wale safaree drake twitter etc...THAT is what killed him. Most if not all his wounds were self inflicted.

And then as soon as the music didn't match up...the court cases...it was all down hill.

And then dudes started hating him cause he bagged Nicki...he talked about it WAY too much.

Meek was NEVER in Drakes class but he was strongly on the come up.

He has no one to blame but himself.

Drakes opening line on this song:

Yeah, yeah, never been no fraud
Why do niggas that are not involved love to get involved?

what is he talking about? and its kind of contradicting, right?

Drakes opening line on this song:

Drake probably wrote & performed them bars before the Remy-Nicki beef happened. Him & Wayne's lines don't have no relation to Nicki's verse, so I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't know they were being used on a diss track until Nicki released it. Personally, I wouldn't be entertaining anybody else's beef if I were Drake seeing as neither Nicki or Wayne came to his public defense.

Nah man... people are acting like he's always been some trash wack low level rapper...

I'm not even a Meek fan but I know he wasn't considered wack to most heads but now it's cool to pretend he was always some nobody.

I don't care about before...right now Meek is the poster child of generation L.

AND he was NEVER universally respected either but not hated he was a young rapper on the come up

That and he had strong industry Co signs.

He was a good young rapper on the come up.

Since he went at Cassidy and lost and then the Wale thing and the court cases then Drake? He was steady losing ground.

And he still isn't wack.

He just been acting like a loser for damn near 2 years.

Do with that what you will.

good song too.
dude should definitely be more highly regarded...

Ran been nice since he was running with Joe.

Just never had that industry push and star quality but he can rap his ass off.

he probably making cash ghost writing...with the right situation he could still be a problem.
