I'm not a fan of Nick, Em, or Mariah, and personally, I wouldn't have handled the situation in this manner, but I can understand why Nick wrote this...you know everybody's gonna step to him and say, 'Damn, he dissed your wife! What you gonna do? You gonna let that White boy diss your wife like that?' and sit back and watch what he's gonna say or do...

The best way for him to handle it would be to take the high road, make a comment along the lines of 'I don't have time to respond, grown people do grown things, etc.' and keep it moving...That won't be enough for the bitch-made who want to see him get brolic, but that's not him anyway - besides, trying to get bad-ass is not the way people who are really doing things (like he is, albeit in a behind-the-scenes way) to respond to stuff like this...

As for his written response...it wasn't necessary, but I can understand why he did it...he was defending his wife...I personally didn't have a problem with him injecting race into his response - he was right on all counts - but, like the written response, it wasn't necessary...I mean, why respond to this clown (who's obviously got some issues) in the first place? So that people won't say he's soft? Like I said, he needs to just needs to keep doing big things and not sweat the small stuff, because that's what it really is...
