:angry::angry::angry: This is fucking bullshit! It's fucking outrageous, unmitigated bullshit! I know the NFL is all about profits and ratings, but they are taking this shit too far! So they give a team four nationally televised games, but only allow that team to host one of them for fear of blowouts, and the effects that blowouts have on ratings. What about the rights of the home teams fans to cheer for their team on the national stage? :smh: If a team has four nationally televised games, for the sake of that team's fans, two of those games should be at home!

From a numbers standpoint, it makes sense. From a viewers perspective, it's horseshit.

Prime time home games for past Superbowl Champions.

Ravens had 2 home prime games, Giants had 2 home prime games, Packers had 2 prime home games, Saints had 2 prime home games, Stealers had 2 prime home games, Denver has 3!!! prime home games…
But that trend now stops with the Seahawks! :angry::angry:
 
If you're the Super Bowl Champs you should have the most televised home games...true playing in Seattle usually end badly for visiting teams... ( Dallas plays in Seattle week 6 ...smh ) This will only make Seattle play with a chip on their shoulder...I'm sure Sherman will have something to say about it

dont nobody care to watch the seahawks at home except the seahawks fans. the game more than likely is going to be cold and or raining especially if it is late and the year.

they need the max number of prime time games. basically their thursday night sunday night and monday night games should be at home.

and its retarded to have them play us 2 times in 3 weeks that late in the season. we're the only teams out there really hitting so they figure by the end of the 2nd game we'll both be too hurt to hurt the rest of the nfl

They did the same thing with us and the steelers last year and I think we both hit pretty hard too
 
If u are a fan from their home state then I dont see you should be complaining. You get the see the games anyway.

They got the shit beat out of them in the superbowl, but it was all gravy when they were destroying teams by 40 points? I'm an Eagles fan, but with everything that is happening with the Seahawks camp, I'm rooting for them along side my Eagles. Sherman is the out spoken player the league needs, because when people get upset at his comments, it is because there is some truth to them. Lynch and him not wanting to enjoy all the fanfare at superbowl press day. "I'm bout that action" is the most honest and real statement ever uttered at media day. Now this shit...

Seattle has four prime time games, but they only host--i.e., play in Seattle-- the first game of the season on Thursday night. Their remaining three prime time games are on the road. The rationale behind this is that Seattle has too much of an advantage at home, only losing once there in two seasons. Moreover, when Seattle plays at home during prime time t.v. ratings are low because Seattle usually blows the other team out.

Even if Seattle does have a record/reputation of blowing visiting teams out during prime time, it's unprecedented for a Super Bowl championship team not to host at least two prime time games. It's like Seattle and their fans are being punished for dominating prime time home games. :smh::angry:
