NFL: RGIII to the Browns?

Hue Jackson might pull the trigger and use the 2nd overall pick on a WR or RB... I saw go for it, Travis Benjamin is in place and they have Barnidge...

... I think Hue gonna get 8-9 wins out of the new Browns squad

This isn't HORRIBLE HORRIBLE, the remaining contract is good they gonna give Hue only about 2 years anyway. RG3 may be a diva but no off the field stuff. HE essentially had a whole year off to heal. Just get a solid back-up.

But Hue can't hitch EVERYTHING to RG3...but I think Robert got something left to show the world.

They wont burn a #2 overall on a rb.. nor a wr. Line help. Address the trenches. They also got Josh Gordon coming back. A fellow Baylor alum.. Wouldnt mind seeing if Hue can get RG3 back to himself.

Lmao. I'll never understand the love for this washed up qb.
Washed up at the age of 25 with low miles?

Guy had one all world season. One mediocre season. And one season he was benched after a bad game. How is that washed up?

If he (RGIII) was humbled by his experience in DC he may bounce back. If he is still a egotistical jerk who makes everyone around him hate his guts, he wont succeed anywhere.

Then the coach used him as a sacrifice lamb...

RGIII does have some issues but so did many of those our fuckers around the team...mainly the fucking coaches

Why would hue stake his future on a butt hurt injury prone qb???? Then again that time on the bench may have woke up the beast in him

Fuck it, anything is better than the screw up whiteboy. At least we know Griffin loves the game of football. Johnny just wanted to be famous.

I was thinking Hue would be more prone to try to get Kaep but we'll see. Just glad to see my team take a step in the right direction and give a black man a chance to change things.

Tom Couglin withdrew his name from the beagles consideration Lmaoo

Maybe Sam Bradford and Sanchez scared him away

Id wait for them to cut Kaepernick first. RGIII has a ton of backage and it still does not seem like he can command a locker room with Black men. RGIII needs a year as working backup somewhere--like New Orleans

Wouldn't be surprised. It would be the most logical choice at this point.
They have no other pieces or prospects at QB. The Johnny Football discipline experiment is finished.

He's done. His physical talents are gone and doesn't have the iq for the position. Trust me.
IQ for the position? Why should we trust you when you're saying stupid shit like this?

ESPN senior writer says RGIII was ‘set up to fail’

Friend was then asked about his claim that Griffin lost his job because of injury, since the team has long said the switch was made for performance reasons.

“It was because of a concussion,” Friend said. “Because of a concussion. In the second preseason game, the coach puts a third-string guy — who he cuts [a few days later] — as his left tackle, and the kid gets killed. Does he run any bootlegs? Does he run any read option? Does he do anything to get the pass rush away from the kid? The coach wanted the kid gone. The coach said that all along he really wanted Kirk Cousins to compete for the job; he named Robert Griffin the starter just to get everybody off his back.

Sure why not let the mediocrity of the Browns continue? By the time they win my children's children will have long departed this earth and will have joined me in the afterlife.

He has the IQ, he doesn't have the training.
He's never been a pocket passer.

Throughout his entire college career he never used a playbook. Baylor gave him only a handful of set plays and everything else was run out of the Read Option.

RG3 needs to go to Arizona. Learn the entire offense from Palmer and take over the following year. That coach out there loves offense and his qb's. The Browns are a dumpster fire. No good thing will grow in that toxic environment. Period. They are going to need 3 years to rebuild or, as the owner will probably do, look at the Jets and say: why can't we turn around in a year?!? I feel sorry for the new coach and all the players under that backwards azz owner. Rg3 better hope thevgods favor him better than that. Smdh.

That's a great idea he can learn the offense while not baring any scrutiny then take over and look good coming out that year. That would be a nice warm up.

Set up to fail? This kid was playing like he could make no mistakes. Like teams didn't study him after his rookie year. How was he set up to fail when he had the backing of his owner? The nigga went through 2 coaches both started him, both benched him. His success was dependant on the qb option which was a threat when he was able to run full speed. That option was so successful Alfred Morris was able to obtain 1600 yards rushing.

It's evident in year two when his legs are gone, he's not effective. Each year his int percentage went up. He also played 9 Games in 2014 went for 4 tds 6 ints.

Here is a site breaking down his ints.
