No one is sure when Peyton will make it back, the OL is still questionable, and its debatable whether Indy did anything to help the team in the short term during free agency. Teams are getting to Manning like they never have before. If that continues, Manning will be done within 2 yrs.
Indy doesn't have the brightest outlook right now. And with the team the Texans have assembled, they are built to run the division for the foreseeable future.

Duke he's coming back the last two preseason games. We just signed a first round and second round highly sought after OL coming out of college. We just signed 3 defensive players last week. And Peyton got sacked 16 times last season that's the least sacks taken among all starting Qb's. WTF are you talking about teams are getting to Manning. It's not about last year it's this year. You guys haven't had the greatest off season. You lost a few lineman Olin being the best and haven't replaced him with a solid center on paper. Roy Williams will help your offense but your line was one of the reasons you didn't advance. Your defense will still be okay although a couple of your players are a year older and you lost a pretty good seconday player in Manning. Look at your schedule
ATL week 1, at NO week 2, home against GB week 3, Detroit if healthy will be tougher at Detroit week 5, Minn maybe better at qb this year so two tougher games than last year. You have Tampa Bay, Philly, and San Diego to play with only the San Diego game at home. You may make it but your schedule is a lot tougher than last year.

Honestly, my thing is Im looking at Minn and I feel like they just gave up on their coach last year. But if you look at the roster, they are up their with you guys and GB as far as overall talent. And yes, I think McNabb can be successful if all he has to do is work off the play action with Peterson. So I expect them to be right back in it.
