NFL #Blackout

LOL at the NFL gift shop ad i'm seeing on BGOL as i'm typing this...

I'm not fucking with football at all this year - maybe ever

The owners made it VERY clear that we as black fans don't matter. So fuck them.

My sons's uncle bought him an little OBJ jersey that he'll never wear

I was debating on buying Kaep jersey....but the NFL gets a portion. This is a dilemma because Kaep donates his portion.

Undecided if I should purchase from China, then Kaep wont get his proceeds

I got my shirt since last year...

I understand looking back?

I wouldn't have bought it...however I LOVE the fat its STILL a top seller.

sidebar...

why arent the victims families an these Black organizations PRESSURING the league

why is f*cking black balling Kaep

to DONATE 100% of the jersey sales to the victims families?

I uninstalled the NFL app a few months ago. I will not go to any games this season or buy any NFL products. Only NFL sponsors I will use is Microsoft and Visa.

The games/highlights I watch will be from internet feeds. I will still play fantasy football.
I uninstalled all things dealing with the NFL. I have a Seattle shirt with Marshawn Lynch former # and name on it, and I only wanted to wear it because it was him. But I won't do anything dealing with NFL

I'm in! Fuck giving them my Nielsen rating.

I will read the results in the BGOL NFL season thread from those who will watch.

I don't go to games, don't buy jerseys, hats, toys, memorabilia.

I'm going to watch Bears games. Fuck anyone that has a problem with that.

How many of y'all actually protesting and trying to make a change about the injustice that Kaepernick actually stands for??

I volunteer weekly on the southside of Chicago and am creating a non profit to groom black professionals starting in grade school.

It's my understanding that all his proceeds is donated to his foundation.
I may be incorrect but the little research I done gave me that conclusion.

In place of a Kaep jersey maybe @Drayonis or one of the other artists on the board could design a Kaepernick shirt we could buy and support without putting money in the NFLs pocket.

I'm in too. Fuck the NFL.

If this mancott is effective everyone involved will gain at least an extra 3 hours a week. If that time is put to good use we may collectively find that we don't need the NFL in our lives at all.

Even without Kapernick, we can certainly do without all the drama. It sickens me to see people having heated arguments over trades, coaches, beefs and scandals as if they were important. Meanwhile the players they gossip about are using that time training to win the next game and collect the next million.

Bruh! Me too! I don't even watch any espn shows about it. It ain't even hard for me. I don't miss it at all. I'll be fine.
Shit I turn from the news when they start talking sports now. My goal is to be so ignorant about the NFL this year that I have no idea whom is going to playoffs. I probably can't avoid hearing about the Texans but I damn sure can avoid hearing about every other team in the league.

Coons gon act like they didn't see this. Smh. Good drop.

Another piece to this should be for us to not spend with our team's local sponsors. Those businesses will feel the heat a lot sooner than the big name sponsors.
