The Whispers are a vocal group.
Their competition would be other (O'Jays/The Stylistics)vocal groups.
The Isleys/EWF were musical groups/bands.
All members played instruments.
EWF didn't make songs like that. That's like asking which IB song can compete with "Mighty Mighty" or "Be Ever Wonderful". This is a weird pairing to me. I'd put EWF against Kool & The Gang. That being said, Cameo vs. The Commodores would be interesting.

Nah man. This is awesome. Their fanbase deserves to see them in this format. Even better since most are older and still pretty much sheltering in place. Also, Patti already performed on the platform with Gladys Knight and it was dam good. Another plus is having the older generation perform exposes the youngsters to the actual creators of alot of the music their favorite rappers have sampled and bastardized.
