The lady in the robe was getting a good joke off the whole thing at the back(Sidebar:wearing a robe on t-v is very inappropriate) ... I think the anchorman started it though .... he was being sort of snotty at first ... at the end of the day they both acted very unprofessionally though

That was hilarious! The anchorman is Jim Ryan and he was the coolest anchorman New York had at one time, he did not take shit! He was one of the only reasons I used to watch Channel 5 in the morning. When he was not being cranky, he seemed like he was drunk on the air and was out of control a few times. He and the weathercaster used to go at it a lot.

He "retired" and then appeared on Ch 2/CBS, but faded from there after a few months.

I wouldn't call it a black and white thing...I think the anchor saw some good news coming on. I mean the tenants are angry and the guy just pretty much gave the most PC answer he could. The anchorman wanted the lady to respond. You always end on the side of the people on the news. You know that. You don't end with the PC statement from the management if they are black or white. Reporter was slipping and the anchorman wasn't having that shit that day!
