Marbury. There was an episode of Nightline dedicated to Stephon Marbury. I don't remember Kenny Anderson getting that level of exposure.
the nicca felipe lopez from rice. he was on the cover of si. man, that nicca fukked up not going straight to the pros. this is one of the only dudes where i'll say that going to school actually fucked up his earning potential because when he was at st john's he didnt look NEARLY as dominant as when he was playing in the PSAL. he did end up going to the pros but on some journeyman shyt. he left A LOT of money on the table

I was only like 4 or 5 when Kenny Anderson came out of high school, but I remember the Marbury hype machine very well. It would be hard for me to fathom KA getting WAY more hype than that.

I'm from South Carolina, but my cousin and I used to be fascinated with NY ballers back in the 90's. I remember Kareek Reid had a NASTY as handle. I actually played a quick one on one against God Shammgod. That motherfucker's handle was out of this world.

Kenny Anderson was one of the best high school players I have seen period.Y'all are sleeping on another player from Boys&Girls out of Brooklyn Dwayne Pearl Washington.Was as good as it get's as well on the high school level.Kenny was better than Marbury coming out of high school.
