Liq stores literally are small biz.. with a bunch of restrictions like having to close by 12am, can’t sell beer, can’t sell food products and various other products, times they can open.. whole license policy.. not being able to own more than 1 store.. allowing corner stores to sell the same products as liq stores without all the restrictions would literally be unfair and fucked up the liq store industry
to be fair, cultural u iqueness more so back in the days but from contributors from musical hip hop(rap,dj ,breadance ,grafitti etc) post punk , freestyle dance music etc help give opportunities to millions of folks to fulfill their dreams in those aspects from around world from Will Smith to Scarface to a local dj in china to artist Basquiat art selling worth millions
