how are you late for a radio on air position ? thats a known fuk no! you fired!!! type of thing. you not gonna last long doing that. you supposed to be there for the listeners and advertisers. thats the 1 job you shouw up @least an hour early for..... maybe 2. Not really. You cant refill them any where.
Once they are empty they are useless.
And in a few months they will be completely blocked.
They are unarmed, can't touch you, or issue a summons or even block you. In fact if they witness a crime they can't even intervene.
All they can do is call police if its serious.
However there have been cases of OVERZEALOUS security acting AS IF they are actual law enforcement and causing issues with riders.

What’s undefeated was my boy got over a hundred free 1 way metro cards cause certain biz was pretty much throwing them out cause they were considered useless now cause it’s going to tap to pay mode.. ask him for some now got a few dozen on deck.. if they say when they switching over to full Omni, run over to them Omni station and have them convert it to Omni money… mission to find other places that might still have free 1 ride or 2 ride metro cards leftUNDEFEATED
