IHOP Adds Oxtails To The Menu At Bronx, NY Locations

IHOP may stand for the International House of Pancakes, but several Bronx locations are taking that name to the next level.
Five IHOPs in the Bronx have become the first in the country to add oxtail to their menu, offering the dish in omelets, quesadillas and tacos.
The idea came from chef Corey Lawrence, who says the goal was to boost business while staying authentic to the Bronx community, including making sure the oxtail is cooked by a Jamaican chef and seasoned properly.
While some customers were skeptical at first, many were pleasantly surprised, with some even buying multiple orders.
The dish has sold out multiple times, and the buzz grew even bigger after Cardi B posted online that she’d give it a try.
