New York Giants fall to 0-6. Last in NFC East. Tom Coughlin ERA finally over in NY?

Re: New York Giants fall to 0-6. Last in NFC East. Tom Coughlin ERA finally over in N

No Eli is signed long term. What they need is linemen on both sides.

if big brother keeps playing the way he is Eli is done mentally in my opinion and being signed long term in football dont mean shit.

Re: New York Giants fall to 0-6. Last in NFC East. Tom Coughlin ERA finally over in N

Exactly. Fuck them. NFC West was trash and ya'll didn't say shit about them.

trash but beat a team when the division leader had a losing record

and sent teams to the super bowl while the division was "trash"

i don't think the east should be excluded though. you win your division you get in that's how i feel. fuck all the other shit.

I'm sorry man when your best team is 7-9 that division was TRASH.

if they get the number 1 pick do they draft bridgewater at the qb in waiting sort of like rodgers was in green bay

that is great poll question.

I think you have take Clowny...

but damn to have a back up QB being groomed...

but just oo much money and too much pressure on Eli

Eli is tougher than that but Peyton never played for a POS team like this. But don't go heaping piles of praise on Peyton just yet. Denver's defense was exposed big by Romo so they're not the lock we thought they were.

Re: New York Giants fall to 0-6. Last in NFC East. Tom Coughlin ERA finally over in N

Yeah man ain't no way around it you win the division at 7-9 your division had a bad year

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

:confused::confused::confused:

im trying to find the part where i said otherwise...

i was actually in here defending your division :smh:

I guess I read it wrong. Looked like you were trying to say they weren't trash despite a few wins against some good teams.

But ayyy i'm the first to admit our division is trash. Its garbage. We're 2-3 and i'm optimistic about winning this division. That's TERRIBLE.

That being said, they go on some win streaks this could change. I don't think the NFC East will be this bad all year. We usually go one sorm type of streaks which has me kind of confused about the Giants because they usually start off hot but at 0-6.....shit. Even in our trash division they might be done which is CRAZY. I had them and the Cowboys battling that shit out at 9-7 or 10-6.

I see people shitting on the Giants....and fair enough but Eli is a big part of why they are 0-6. You can't escape that. I can't wait to see how the Bronco's follow up last game. If they come out with another 40 to 20 ass whooping......its gonna be hell....until the post season anyway.

Everyone giving the Chiefs a shot but I got a feeling Andrew Luck might give them some comp.

nah the division wasn't good that's not up for debate. the talent was there but the coaching wasn't... look at the difference a pete carroll and jim harbaugh makes..

only team i hope fails is the rams because i hate fisher and always will hate his overrated never done nothing ass

as far as your division goes.. the giants, didn't look good in preseason but i just said sure its preseason now they're 0-6 and im scratching my head.

yall, don't know what team you are..im sure you don't know what team you are either so im just waiting and seeing

rg3 is hurt if the schedule gets lighter then they can get some wins but shit is pryor had been playing 2 weeks ago they wold be 0 for right now.

and the eagles got the same problem as the redskins.. the defense just isn't doing good.

man they play the jags next game... that's not a barometer on how good they are lol.

there are plenty of teams that have a shot if they're not scared and crown em before they even get on the field.

i told you what must be done. its as simple as that man.

you're right about Eli... to a degree... I blame him for last night... BUT... The defense isn't exactly doing their job either... :smh:

Like I've said before... Eli's problem is... he has a HAPPY ARM... :smh::smh::smh:

When he gets into trouble... He just CHUCKS THE BALL... :smh::smh::smh:

BUT... as a Giants fan... i CAN NOT SHIT ON HIM JUST YET... NO!!!!!... :smh::smh::smh:

Not after 2 rings... I'm sorry... I CAN'T DO IT!!!! Especially knowing that he's lining up behind a BUNCH OF BACK UPS AND NO RB... :smh::smh::smh:

... AND if anybody wants to talk about what Jacobs did last night... Let's also remember that the GummyBears didn't have starting DTs in the game either... :smh:

I believe in Loyalty... and I'm riding with Eli... REGARDLESS...

Because he can fuck around and win us another ring next year... HE'S ALREADY PROVEN THAT HE HAS IT IN HIM TO DO SO...

I somewhat agree. I think Jacobs shit was fool's gold but I won't discredit what he did. Looked great. I thought he was finished. And the defensive line is terrible. Offensive line too. And you already know how it is when you can't get to the quarterback. It fucks up your linebackers and your secondary.

Especially when your linebackers and secondary are suspected to begin with.... :smh:

BUT... I will say this... I like Beason... he showed up last night... Reese may want to seriously consider keeping him...

as for Jacobs... He showed up too... the problem is... it's too little... too late... :smh:

At this point... it's all about the draft and the off season... WE...R... DONE!!!!... :smh:

I'd sit everyone down that I think has some value... and tank for draft position...

He's going for a second opinion, but now David Wilson's career may be OVER, holy shit

:eek::eek::eek: Goh DAMN! I just seen this dude do that 2 backflip endzone shit......

Yea exactly. You are suppose to make it easier for your linebackers and secondary especially when they aren't that good to begin with. Its fucked up man but I slowly see Reese becoming the scapegoat for this shit. And man maybe ya'll can shed some light on it but I almost have to fault him over Eli and Coughlin.

Re: New York Giants fall to 0-6. Last in NFC East. Tom Coughlin ERA finally over in N

I almost have to fault him over Eli and Coughlin.

In 2011, Eli had his best year and won the Super Bowl playing behind the worst oline in football. That's why I'm not so sure the offensive line is to blame for Eli's inconsistency this year.

I mean. everyone remembers this shit, the pounding Eli took in the championship game but kept getting back up to make the passes

Eli-Timeout-Mess-e1327288093396.jpg

In 2012, he was the 2nd least sack QB, the offensive line didn't play that bad. Reese does deserve blame for holding onto the older guys on the line a year too long.

Sad part is last night we saw Perry Fewell throw in the towel with the D-line, he called a few all out blitzes, something that the Giants almost NEVER do, because the front four has somehow ALWAYS gotten pressure on opposing QBs, that just hasn't been the case since last season, the REALLY sad part is that we STILL didn't get to Cutler, the ONLY dirt on his jersey is from when he chose to slide a few times AFTER getting first downs (one of which they took back!):smh:

The line played better last night, and even though the Bears' starting tackles were out, did ANYONE remember hearing Julius Peppers' name mentioned last night?!?

Jacobs' running was due to the line stepping up, and him being pumped up for the game, dude was RUNNING OVER people like the Jacobs of old, problem is he was injured midway thru the 4th quarter like the Jacobs of old as well, remember he took himself out after a big run, Scott came in & injured his knee, Jacobs returned with an ace bandage wrapped around his hamstring.

True, but their run blocking has been in steady decline for awhile, keep in mind that good offensive linemen take about 2 years to groom, just look @ the Jets O-line, last year they were trash, but their play has improved all the way down the line with the simple addition of Willie Colon, while Reese made the right move moving out O'Hara & his chronic back problems, he basically brought in the same thing with Baas, Beatty was a 2nd round pick from 2009 but he has woefully been underperforming, Snee has been their best lineman, he's only 31, but who knows what shape he'll be in after hip surgery.

Bottom line, Baas was a mistake, he seemed like more of a stopgap to move out O'Hara and Boothe has had more bad games then good, and I'm not sure what Reese saw in giving Beatty that 5yr/37.5 million $$$ contract, anyone here understand that?!?

Dude, Beatty was a shutdown LT last year. He only gave up 1 sack the entire year. I understand the criticism he's been getting because he's played pretty inconsistently, but he's still a solid LT. I think Snee is done, but we got Brandon Mosley (who trained with Snee the entire offseason) on the bench who played REALLY well during preseason, he needs to get in the starting line up and stop wasting time and space on Diehl. I still think we're only a good solid players from a good offensive. Get that high draft pick, trade down.. and pick the best available guard or tackle, and we're right back in this.

I agree with Baas though... I never liked that pick from the jump.. and he's restructured so many times, he'll be back next year because we can't cut him. Hopefully that means we can draft a center in the later rounds and build him during the season.

OK, cool, Beatty's just lost his way a little, if he had it, he can find it again!

i question both their mental toughness. Hell Peyton didnt want to go to the skins because he didnt want to compete with his brother twice a year.

you can't tell me peyton is not in Eli's head though
