New York City Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani

Yea, running an entire COUNTRY is not the same as running a large City. They always show their hands when brining up Obama out of NOWHERE.
not really - all politics is local

if the Obama's campaign stayed operational keeping his network of community organizers going - his massaging and control of narratives would have been much stronger
later - the dems would have had an operation able to temper the tea party in 2010 - GOP probably would have still taken the house but would not have rolled up as many seats, and dems would have had a stronger hand to reclaim the house in 12 and the senate

As usual, Nina Turner is right.

Mayor-elect Mamdani is an incredible campaigner and I hope his vision to provide provision for New Yorkers passes city council and gets support in Albany.

That said, endorsing Representative Jeffries to be the next Speaker of the House does nothing to help that. This is not about a primary, but his spot in Congressional leadership.

This comment is detrimental to the path towards progress for all Americans, those who are struggling under conservative local and state governments and look to the federal government to pass legislation to better their lives.

Maybe New Yorkers can afford a Jeffries speakership, but that’s a luxury.

Folks in Cleveland can’t afford it, folks in the south can’t afford it - what they deserve is the opportunity to organize for better without a popular, supposedly progressive figure in the party throwing cold water on the idea that the Speaker could be someone who isn’t funding genocide, defending folks involved with Epstein, and standing in the way of Medicare for All.

@ViCiouS @ghoststrike — I don’t get the laughing reactions?

if this was spades nina and co want Z to throwoff an ace to let the 10 of hearts to take a book
He's hasn't even been sworn in yet. Let the members of the house decide. I would've said the same thing so it won't distract me from getting my own objectives in place. His answer might change if they do take the house but I ain't causing disruptions based on a hypothetical.

NEW: Stephen A. Smith tells Fat Joe why Zohran Mamdani is "PROBLEM"

"Free ain't reality. Free buses, free grocery stores. You're seeing free child care. It ain't free. Nothing's free in this world. And nobody should know that better than minorities in this country."

"No one should ever fail to know that. What he means is the redistribution of wealth ... he's talked about seizing properties. That's communism. That's Marxism."
