New TV Trailer: The Walking Dead: Dead City

Welp, let the last 3 stack so I could binge and it turned into blah. Really lost momentum. Should have known better.

Don't know what is up with these writers and this girl boss shit. So now we have a girl boss over the slav and over the marshalls? And the girls can fight off hordes of zombies while the men die. :cmonson:

Swear a bunch of Adam22 types write this shit. A post-apolalyptic would we be close to street shit. Grimey with the toughest cats in control. Shit, much like human history. Yeah, I know it's fantasy, but shit is corny at this point.

Season 1
Episodes 5 - 6

Started these this morning.

Actress Lisa Emery (Ozark) made her debut in episode 5 as “The Dama”. It looks like the Croat answers to her.

Perlie gave his backstory on himself, his brother and family. Neagan finally confesses to Ginny.

Maggie confronts the SuperWalker that someone created. Neagan/Maggie come to blows.

Maggie reunites with Hershel. The Croat and Neagan meet up.

Neagan meets The Dama. This broad is truly diabolical with whatever scheme she is up to. They did a perfect job casting her.

They set it up to go right into season 2 which looks to go to a different direction.

Definitely looking forward to season 2.

Can’t wait!

Season 2
8 Episodes

Started the new season this morning at home and finished this afternoon.

It picked up immediately after the events of season one. We finally got an official Time of how long it’s been since the Zombie Apocalypse started.

Dascha Polanco debuts. She is completely covered up. So don’t get yourself worked up. Kim Coates debuts.

Old School Neagan reluctantly returns with an upgraded “Lucille”. They showed how the Dama got into Hershel Jr’s head to control him. The Croat and Dama past before the Apocalypse is revealed.

Maggie went up against a Grizzly Bear. It was heavily scarred from encountering Walkers over the years.

Hershel Jr. finally came out against Maggie with how she is handling Neagan.

Episode 7 is the standout episode of the series so far. It focused on Neagan and Maggie on two separate journeys with Neagan in Bellevue Hospital and Maggie navigating a high rise office building. Plenty of suspense in the episode.

The season ended with the main plots closed out. Hershel Jr. is looking to be a major character in the future as he comes into adulthood. The big build up of Neagan reuniting with Rick will definitely happen soon.

I looked into it and season 3 is in pre-production. There is no official release date but it’s expected to debut either in 2026/2027.

Looking forward to it.
