I enjoyed it. I loved the message it was sending, plus it had a lot of funny parts. It sucked that my crush (TRE) died early in the flick, but the message was spot on. Black authors having to dumb themselves down just to get white publishers to greenlight their books. The instances were comedically overstated, but the message still hit.
