OutKast is not releasing a new album or project on October 2, 2026.
The confusion likely comes from a couple of other events happening around this time:
• Official Merchandise Drop: Official OutKast merchandise—including T-shirts, hoodies, and caps—is scheduled to go on sale on October 2. This is part of the ongoing rollout for their classic album anniversaries.
• Vinyl Reissues Later in October: OutKast has a massive wave of special-edition vinyl reissues dropping later in the month on October 23, 2026. These include colored and marbled vinyl pressings for albums like Idlewild, Aquemini, ATLiens, and their compilation album Big Boi & Dre Present… Outkast.
