New Orleans overall is not the same.

Treme is being gentrified at an alarming pace and rate.

The bass drums will never sound the same in Congo Square.

Nice video but like the poster above me said, it's not the same.

Eventually gentrification will take it over and it'll be a shell of itself.

The incoming mayor is a transplant and will most certainly speed up the process of gentrification and disruption of the fabric of neighborhoods.

It's been fun but it's time to move on. Once New Orleans becomes a hipster spot, it'll lose it's flavor and New Orleans with no flavor is just a vulnerable spot in the middle of hurricane alley.
