Going to jail for coercive contempt can last as long as the judge wants it to, which is why you should never just flat out refuse.
Going to jail for obstruction usually has to come with a sentence, which opens shit up to be deliberated in court. Now if the judge hit her with hindering the apprehension of a felon, that could carry criminal charges.
She really fucked up from the jump when she talked but she might have been tricked or coerced. Courts and cops don't give a fuck about what happens to citizens. They wouldn't shed a tear if the girl and her family got killed the next day. The smartest thing to do is look out for yourself and yours. Fuck what they want. And Lil Kim has hella street cred for not snitching. If thats where you live and what you're about, it matters more than a little bit of jail time. Fuck the police. Homie went into court shook up and decided to forget the facts of the case. They charged homie with contempt and perjury.

Now homie is a felon for trying to save his own life when the system would not.
