The fact that this track is a single makes me lose hope for the Life is Good album. We've had two singles so far and neither made you squinch your face like "GOTTTT DAMN THIS SHIT BANGS!!" Nas is no doubt one of the illest lyricists in the game but he just doesn't make good songs. I often struggle with who is the better MC, Nas or Eminem, and I think Eminem is edging him out because he makes better songs. You listen to that track 3AM by Eminem and not only does it have sick production but the lyricism and story telling is top notch. I don't know if Nas has it in him but I'm going to stop checking for him if he doesn't stop coming with these boom-bap ass beats.

More of the same? Give me two hip-hop songs that sound this this. You're suggestion for him is to rhyme over samples that have been used over and over before (classic Justus League shit) and that won't be more of the same?:cmonson:

To each his own. This track has the hip-hop community going nuts. Haven't seen them go this crazy over a Nas single since "Made You Look". This shit is gonna go crazy in the clubs. Maybe not everwhere in the U.S. but NY, Miami, and Europe will eat this shit up.

It's more of the "same ol' Nas", I would like to see him expand and pick some better beats.
