New Music: Ms. Lauryn Hill - Nice For What RMX (Drake) Live at the Apollo 5/1/17

Peace,

Nice For What vid was dope.

And Lauren deserves all the praise (and, frankly all the criticism) that she gets.
You see how many cell phones they got? Man if I'm artist I'm banning cell phones or cutting them off or something.....what's the point of recording the event when you there? Someone gonna record it and put it online anyway. Shit backwards as fuck. Record with your phone and watch it later as opposed to actually watching it while you there live.

Exactly. They’re completely out of the moment. Voyeurs to their own lives.

I just try to look at the positive in the moment that it will help the artist as in them posting it all over social media, BUT it is madd rude.

I just can't seem to connect with this generation and the need to take a pic and video of everything. Wife and I can be out at dinner and it's becoming more and more that we see couples snapping pics of their food, at different angles and moving their plate for the right lighting at the table and posting to their IG, FB or Snapchat, I'm assuming. How about enjoying each other's company?

I guess I'm an old fart.

Man I don't even know if they realize it but the enjoyment of concerts or sporting events is the fans. The artist really does take a backseat to the fans in that regard. If the crowd is wack chances are its gonna be a wack performance. Let it sink in.....people taking pictures of their food before they eat. You not even enjoying your food because it takes a backseat to pictures. Shit is just crazy man...you don't really think about this shit until you see instances like this where the crowd is zombies. Then it makes you reflect on how we living in general. Smartphones are dumbing down our society.

Ex Factor > Nice for What

Drake's rendition is nothing more than new age simp music.

Whenever I see live clips of her she always sounds strained, hoarse, and out of breath... dope how she reclaimed her shit, though.
