New Movie Trailer: Zootopia 2 UPDATE: $1 BILLION globally!?!

I think they focus on that a lot! Every year there several movies like that that hit! I think the just don’t know which ones will at times.

There should ALWAYS be more than ONE family flick in theaters is my point. I gotta go ask some questions if thats more studios or theaters fault.

They don’t won’t to compete against each other though. So they spread them out. Hollywood problem is the just don’t make enough good movies; regardless of the genre…

I personally if I could play Studio Head for a year? I would have had 8 releases and they would NOT all be animated. That is what I was saying they gotta cater more to all those audiences because there is A LOT of crossover but also opportunities to target specific groups that are underserved cinematically.

  • Dog Man (DreamWorks / Universal) – Jan 31, 2025
  • Snow White (Disney, live-action) – Mar 21, 2025
  • A Minecraft Movie (Warner Bros.) – Apr 4, 2025
  • How to Train Your Dragon (Universal, live-action) – Jun 13, 2025
  • Elio (Pixar / Disney) – Jun 20, 2025
  • The Bad Guys 2 (DreamWorks / Universal) – Aug 1, 2025
  • Zootopia 2 (Disney Animation) – Nov 26, 2025

But this was a GOOD year because although they ALL didn't hit right? They were ALL solid.

I keep meaning to watch this. I'll check it out tomorrow while I'm just sitting around doing nothing. On a related note, I actually enjoyed Bad Guys 2.

^^^^

the family loved it.

Slept on franchise. Great voice acting and unique animation style.

My youngest has been reading the book because she likes the movies so much.

I think 8 is too many if the studios won’t to make big money . I would say no more than 5

bro.. go look a final grosses for the movies I listed.
Dog man did 145 million. I would assume that’s not good but I don’t know budget and stuff. Elio was a flop! And so was Snow White! Bad guys 2 made 245 plus million which is low for that type of movie. Now they all were solid movies in terms of quality and entertainment but only 3 of the movies you posted were box office success!!! So I would again say 8 is too much for all to have box office success
