The after war hour long legal drama back/forth wasn't bad.
Really good..
Love the 'surprise' Harry Truman cameo.
Always liked that actor.
Thats how you make a mark in about 5min of screen time.
He was great
and Best actor isn't Cillian Murphy it's Robert Downey Jr.

Funny side note ... to paraphrase a coworker of mine - "It's a shame the series is not on the radar for alot of people. They might have heard the title in passing and thought - that's probably a kids' show, or a cartoon / anime. When in fact it's a great gangster drama / period piece. With peaky blinders referring to caps with razor blades in them, lol."

Watched it on a 70mm IMAX and it was visually impressive. Black widow had her wack ass titties out left and right. That naked flashback scene went hard on the wife. The pace was pretty fast for 3 hours.
There was almost no actual nuclear chemistry, large scale manufacturing or math derivations in the movie. If you are a scientist, or engineer this aspect of the movie will leave you disappointed.
No mention of what they did to the people of New Mexico. That State was not empty
The lead actor is winning an Oscar. Downey Jr is winning and Oscar. Nolan should finally win for Director.
co-sign all of this...really enjoyed this flick, great performances all around..good tension, cinematography and the pace was very good for a 3 hr film. Also been meaning to read "american prometheus" but haven't had the chance yet.
