NEW Kobe Interview. I Predict This Thread Will Be On Fire In No Time

I see nothing wrong with anything he said and i read the whole thing.

The question i would like for Kobe to answer one day is, if he had been enough of grown man to accept deferring to Shaq, how many titles would they have won?

You mean Shaq being enough of a grown man because he was the older more seasoned veteran and was on the decline right?

you should continue to read the comments posted after the article.

there are some REAL comedic gems in there.

Kobe could maybe get Jordan one on one - his handle is a little nicer and he has a little better 3 point shot. However, he is not a better NBA player. Same thing with Lebron. I think KD would get him - his jumper is too effortless.

I think MJ beats Kobe 6 or 7 out of 10 times because he is a smarter player and better offensively and defensively..but they would be close games... one on one is a different animal and Kobe wouldn't need to worry about the "game"..and he's a streaky shooter..

Durant would bust Kobes ass... no way Kobe could defend Durant.. that's a complete mismatch for Kobe but even Kobe admitted that...

Kobe vs Lebron would be a good match because their skills sets are so different....

but maybe with Kobe realizing this.. he admitted that Lebron is a better player than him.

man..I can only imagine...those ESPN comments are sometimes next-level stupidity

So, a guy who has patterned his entire being and existence after another guy feels as though the comparison with that guy were getting old and he stopped paying attention to them?

Ooookay Kobe, okay...

Truthfully, I don't have a damn problem with anything he said! He talked a lot of shit, but as a professional athlete you have to have a certain degree of arrogance or else you ain't shit! His numbers definitely support a top 5-10 type career. I know Cranrab has his issues with him, and quotes a lot of statistics which may be valid to a point, but ultimately, if anyone takes the time he took dissecting Kobe career with any other all time great, you would find just as many discrediting stats, so I take that with a grain of salt with Kobe.

Ultimately, no matter how much BGOL members hate Dude, he will go down as one of the greatest players of all time, arguably the greatest player of his generation, and definitely the greatest player ever to go straight to the pros from high school.

Take away all the personal shit, Dude has done his thing on the court for a long time and still performs at a high level...
:hmm:

I feel you, but... you have to have talent to pattern your game after the arguably the GOAT, and to be as successful as Kobe has been doing it... Shit isn't a mistake, and all players pattern some portion of their game after another player... Nothing new there Dude...

I do feel you about him getting offended by comparisons, thats dumb as fuck!! :smh:

Man. I love candid interviews... even If I don't agree I would rather hear what a muthafucka really thinks... It's obvious Kobe thinks he better than everyone else besides Mike and Wilt... I think he is further down the list, but at least he admits what he really thinks... he even admits shit that displays his flaws (even if he doesn't realize it).. just him saying Lebron is a better "5 on 5" basketball player is Kobe admitted that Lebron is the more complete basketball player.... Kobe just feels when it comes to "scoring", he can put up points and get his shot off one on one... shit might not be good for the team..but he doesnt care.. that's "what he does"...

EXACTLY!!! That's all I'm saying. Fuck these Dude who smile on the camera giving CAC/Family safe interviews shit, say what you feel! Dude feels like when he steps on the court he's the best on the court and one of the best who ever did it! If I had the career he has had, what the hell do I have to lessen my accomplishments for

Not only that, but on some of his biggest shit talking tirades he said 'if you don't believe me, ask him' So, what's wrong with that, not talking shit, but saying if you need proof, ask the motherfucker I'm talking about! Can't get no more real than that...

Do some of you get tired of talking Kobe?

Kobe said this. Kobe did that.

Some of you spend way too much time discussing another dude.

Shits sort of pathetic on some real shit.

Yep

I agree with all of this

If it's one player that would beat Kobe one on one several times it would be Durant

But Kobe admitted that, he is no fool

Jordan would get him more times that not as well cuz if shit got real he would start muscling him

Plus his drive to win is superior to Kobe

Never thought Tmac was better. He was a better athlete but that's it...The problem with Kobe is that he never fine tuned the team game. Hell Brandon Jennings is probably a better one on one player than Stockton, Payton, Kidd - don't mean shit. There are things he didn't mention - pick and rolls, rolling off screens, etc... Kobe isn't a complete player- Jordan and Lebron were/are.

This shit is crazy....Kobe should never be mentioned as better than Mike. They are not the same player...you think Mike would have allowed this bullshit going on right now with the Lakers?
I always felt tmac was more naturally talented than Kobe, but Kobe worked more on his game.

It felt like Tmac went on natural ability more than anything else. He'd be right at Kobe's level if not better if he had the mentality and toughness Kobe has.

Bron showed kobe who the primer player is and has been for the better part of 7 yrs now...

...am I the only person who read Kobe said room service charged him $80.00 for some damn Frosted Flakes?:confused::confused::confused:

What kind of fucking Frosted Flakes were those?

Those motherfuckers are crazy.

I feel kind of bad for Kobe, being sandwiched in between Jordan and James and those years playing in the shadow of Shaq.. At least he has his rings to fall back on..

Did kobe reach 5000 career assist yet?

Have not read a great athlete interview from the NBA in ages and this is just what I needed.

Love him or hate him, Kobe says what's on his mind, doesn't apologize for it and he can do that because......he is great at what he does.

It took me a long, long, long time to admit it but he is right, he was born to play basketball. His work ethic is unreal.

I see nothing wrong with anything he said and i read the whole thing.

To the first paragraph, he kept it real.

To the second paragraph,:eek: :lol::smh:
Frosted Flakes = White girl asshole.
:eek::eek::eek::lol::lol::lol:
