I'm still seeing way too much CGI city destruction. The 'secret' is clearly going to be Clark reborn, they minus whale just show him. The stinger is probably going to be the Green Lantern Corps getting involved on Earth in the aftermath of the attack (finger crossed for Jon Stewart). Wonder Woman looks like she going to steal the show. Hopefully she can carry this movie to being at least decent.
And I'm still going to be there day 1.

Much like in the first Avengers movie, how are you going to have the Earth invaded by an alien army and not have city destruction?

My issue isn't the city destruction in and of itself. It's CGI empty city destruction.
In both Avengers movies there was city destruction but there were both ground and air battles. So we saw extras on the street. The city actually looked populated.
In these JL trailers the city looks like empty CGI buildings with no civilian life to be found.
It's the difference between seeing Cap and Widow looking beatdown, sweaty, and tired in the first Avengers, while battling aliens and seeing people running away all around them. Verses seeing Aquaman land in a completely abandoned building while surfboarding on an alien, crushing the building, and coming out with a big smile, not a drop of sweat on him, and no civilians in a 50 feet radius.
This is just a trailer, so hopefully there is still a lot that they're not showing. And I'm still there day 1, no questions.
