Makes no sense to buy a new car. Second you drive it off the lot, it's depreciated value by a substancial amount. And no my friend, you don't KNOW, that you're gonna make good money, you hope you are. You just got the job you say? Well slow down. Get like, a 2005. Used but not old, save yourself quite a few thousand.

Economy ain't too good buddy, not sure how many people are gonna be buying timeshares of all things.

Thats why i said about 6 months in to it before i go and purchase or until I close a few deals

So you're going from a hooptie to a brand new car once you've been at your new "sales" gig (which im sure is atleast partially commission based) for six months?

I dont approve.

Too soon! Don't do it! Reconsider. Read some litera-ture on the subject...

I have experience in Sales and to tell you right off, You have to wait and see what kind of sales/commissions you can make before the money get spent. If you have a slow peroid, like now, the last thing you want is a car payment.:D Nice shopping list , but I would hold off for a year or so. Get yourself a rental car or something decent from an auction for business purposes if need be. Good luck either way bruh.

Within 90 days i will be able to get an idea of potential commission that will be made.. i have been in sales for a while and am used to the commisssion structure, and I am aware that Timeshare business is rough. I am in a department where we do upgrades and the close rate is high and the commission pay is great. i know several people who are killin it making 100k plus. Thats why i set 90 days to 6 mos b4 i make a move, wether it be buy a new whip or a used car and i will base it on my performance... im just trying tot narrow my choices.. Caddy CTS has the lead.. and trust me im not banking on just the timeshare, i plan on picking up a part time gig also just to have some extra cash and save more money for traveling for personal time.

find an auction might get lucky with a good car with some use, and you can sell it later for not much loss. When the money becomes more of a reality than do your thing.

What does your car have to do with you selling timeshares? If I see a sales person drive up in a brand new Benz...I'm thinking I'm about to get fleeced. Otherwise how can this person afford such an expensive car? I would say stay sensible with the car. Nothing extravagant. Keep it detailed so that it has a nice appearance inside and out. Use the extra money for something that can appreciate in value.

Im thinkin bout hittin one of these side of the road spots, buy a better hooptie, and then upgrade later on.... Its just that im gonna have to buy a car soon cause the one i got now has engine problems, and i have a 30min drive each day so that aint gonna cut it for long.

Mistakes:
(1) It's new job with no telling what your paycheck may or may not be, so there's no sense in locking yourself into a payment just right now.

(2) It's a new job so there's not telling if you're going to last more than a year in the business before saying, fuck it - this ain't for me.

(3) You're looking at BRAND NEW CARS! Why? It's a waste of money. 2005,6,7 are just as good and have just as good warrantees.

That said of your selections, here are my comments:
Mercedes-Benz C-Class C350 Sport Sedan - Negative. Maitenance cost are too high for an entry level car in my opinion.
Acura TL - Not a bad choice. A bit cramped on rear leg room but no terrible.
Infiniti G37 - A better choice/bargin than the TL in my opinion. Rear wheel drive, but don't let that phase you.
Impala SS - FUCK NO! It's a GM product.
Toyota Camry Hybrid - You're not going to get a deal on hybrids and it's new: See my above comments on new cars.
Ford Mustang - ARE YOU SERIOUS? You just said you needed a car to take clients around which means SEDAN or larger.
Honda Accord Coupe - Again, NO COUPES if you're serious about this business.
Caddy CTS - Not a bad bargain right now since the new one just came out. Should suit your needs, but not much fun to drive or particually well refined. Reminds me of the Cimmaron from the 80's.
BMW 3 Series Coupe - NO COUPES and maintenance for entry level car is too high.
BMW 1 Series Coupe 135i - BE SERIOUS
BMW 3 Series Coupe 335xi - BE SERIOUS
Saturn OUTLOOK XR AWD - GM, No thank you.
Dodge Charger RT - Overkill for your needs. Too much of a gas guzzler too.
Acura RDX 5-Spd AT w/ Technology Package - Not bad.
Nissan Maxima SL - Another good bargin.
Chrysler Aspen Limited 4X4 - Don't know much about this truck so I can't comment. But an SUV, while haveing lots of room, is probably overkill and hell on gas.

Yes, public transportation does suck here in VA. Buses come like, once and hour and the shits are always late.

THANKS FOR THE INPUT... only had the coupes on there cause i like sport cars, and i probably will rarely have to drive guest around.. I like to drive, only reason why im driving a hooptie now is cause my credit was jacked, almost done gettin that cleaned up..
i might go used but not too old..

Don't buy shit unless you're going to write it off on your taxes as a business expense. Otherwise tell the job kiss your ass or buy you a new car, and take care of bidniz with your hoop ride.

Selling timeshares? I would buy something that just does the job right now.

A used Maxima or something would do the trick. Then after a year when you know what the commisions are looking like and put some cash away, splurge on something hot.

The 335i is the truth. That new Infiniti G37s is no fuckin joke either.

the busy season at my site begins end of feb, so within around 2 or 3 months from now i should know what to expect as far a s pay goes. Ive been in sales for years and wanted something with less hours and better pay. plus our company and benefits are the best.

I am about to look at some used cars too, but have to wait till i get a few checks under my belt, used cars dont last long on car lots here with 4 military bases nearby.

nuff said, but if i was you id wait to get it used.

This guy has the right idea. Timeshares are a luxury so you have to make sure your customers know you relate to their wants. So instead of the Cadillac CTS look at the STS and DTS and Lincoln Town Car - think about the customers leg room and comfort - these things ride like a good couch.

Think about what the Cadillac STS has to offer versus some of the cars on like the Mustang and the Charger with their limited visibility and loud pipes - you gonna put an old woman in that car? The Infinity, Acura and Impala are nice cars but I wouldn't get in those things for a tour - I'd politely decline and follow you in my car rather than be inconvenienced by your midsized death trap if only for a quick ride through the facilities.

Soomebody is thinking like me:
"So, is it a show-stopper not to have a fancy car? If you were a client and your agent was going to drive you around, would you climb into a Volkswagen Jetta or Honda Civic or a dated Jeep Cherokee?"

Yeah a maxima, or Toyata would be good. Get like a 05 for cash, and in a year sell that shit, and get ya money back to put to a better ride.

yeah those are some nice comfy rides.. I might jump on a 2000 lexus Ls 430,1999-2001 BMW 5 series for right now, probably within the next 90 days depending on how much im making by then or comfort level, then work on saving up for an upgrade... but the list from orig post is gonna be what im lookin at... the mercedes c350 is high on the list cause of the price and value, plus its a Benz aka Chick magnet.

Yeah that blog is the truth, unfortunatly people sometime buy based on apperance, and when you dealing with people that like to travel and got bank you wanna look like you are sucessfull at what you do. Since clients can offer referals and if they happen to see your ride and say wow my sales agent had a nice car just like that one, or he has to be good at what he does... I pray i wont have to d o a tour in my current car cause people gonna be like do you wanna ride with me instead.
Plus with the new ride or something with luxury, im gonna start me a photography company( for the strippas and chicks that want some sexy pictures - ladies love doing wild shit when they see a nice car). The later is a side hustle, which might not have to involve the car but theres nuthin like seeing a bad chick posing on a nice car...

But i did search for some used cars last night and theres some nice ones online.. looking for luxury under 15k cause i might be able to pay that off in less than a year.. One of my peeps that works at the same place make between 10k and 20k per month during peak season. So i think i know i can make it happen.

You gotta get a nice car. Its all image. People will take you more serious when you pull up in that Benz.

Co-sign, go and get your self a used Honda or Acura (My choices) which are good as sporty cars and have a luxury look (for work purposes). .02
