New e-reader from Barnes & Noble

[20turk]

Barnes and Noble is going to release a new device tomorrow called The Simple Touch Reader. They haven't released the specs to the stores yet or the price point but it's will be a black and white version of the color nook. They will not be in store yet. They are set to be pre-orders as of right now.

They are also dropping the price of the other black and white nooks. $119 and $169 for those.

Positive. The press release is set for tomorrow. The stores did a conference call on it today, but didn't talk about specifics about the device it's self.

Yo, in The Best Man you ever wonder why that nigga wrote the book in the first place? Like... you gonna release a book where you talk about fucking your best friends new bride? What kinda friend is that?

Alright got a pic but I can't upload from the iPad. Gotta wait till I get to a computer.

It's a crappy picture but the best I can do with an iPad. It's not the device it's self but a picture of it. So a picture of a picture.

Until I see the specs tomorrow I will remain open minded.

If it isn't as big as a Kindle DX, they can keep it. Small e-readers are useless.

I like your style. Post had me rereading the title to the thread like I was lost.

Unless you want to keep it portable. What's easier to carry around, a pocket dictionary or that humongous tome they have posted in the library?
