I remember that ghostbusters cartoon.. it didn’t make sense to me cause obviously I seen the other ghostbusters( the most well known 1 with ray, Egon, etc).. but for some reason I use to watch it and liked the theme song for whatever reason... was kinda catchy
theme was dope as hell
but from my understanding the live action was first in 1975 then the ghostbusters what we all know came out in 1986
filmnation was like fuck no this our shit and they released their shit after the other cartoon came out.,

Two of my fav episodes of The Real Ghostbusters was the one with The Lady whose attic was haunted. Her Dad made a deal with a demon and reneged on it. The thing in Mrs. Favarsham’s attic I think it was called.
The other is Dream a little Dream with the Sandman. It ended up being a Winston saves the day episode.

Those two actors in the live action, I remember them from watching the old repeat episodes of “F-Troop”. Forest Tucker who played the Sergeant is known for co-starring in a lot of classic old school westerns.

I always thought The Real Ghostbusters was a welcome change from that goofy shit, even as a kid.
Filmation Ghostbusters had that lame ass 60s and 70s styled humor i hated seeing in cartoons.
It's the reason I hated the Flintstones, The Jetsons, and Scooby-Doo.
It was either animated versions of adult sitcoms or goofy dumb shit.
It's like they thought of us kids as either adults in kid's bodies, or fuckin retards back then.
I was glad when The Real Ghostbusters, GI Joe, Transformers, Thundercats, Heathcliff, Voltron, Ninja Turtles, and Muppet Babies, came out.

Yes, when the 1984 cartridges on called itself The Real Ghosebusters it probably wasn’t aware that there was a 19970s series.
Whatever happened to Filmation anyway? They had good shit out in the 1970s/1980s.
