The only thing I have to say is 1) this was broken into two parts when it really should have just been 1 part -- 2) Kiki Layne has a very nice ass - multiple scenes where they show it off nicely.

4/10

I watched this at home last night with my son on Netflix. It debuted earlier this month.

Not much to say about it. It played out not as good as the first film. The film mainly did more with character development of the characters from the first film, along with debuting Uma Thurman’s character.

Uma’s character is about the only interesting thing about the film as she is introduced as the first immortal from what we were told that Andy was in the first film. Her character brings up theories on who she actually is in world history. Information on how immortality works with the characters is discussed.

There is a car chase scene with a couple of characters that is the highlight scene in the film. Uma has a fight scene at the end with Charlize, if you are a fan of her in the “Kill Bill” films, you should enjoy it.

The film leaves it off for a 3rd film, hopefully we don’t have to wait 5 years for it.

Looking forward to it.

Synopsis

Andy leads immortal warriors against a powerful enemy threatening their group. They grapple with the resurfacing of a long-lost immortal, complicating their mission to safeguard humanity

I had hope that Old Guard was tangential to Hancock, you know immortal invincible warriors walking among humans that somehow lose their "powers," and the mental/ physical toil that takes and their quest towards the "ultimate choice" or sacrifice......

The first novie seemed cool, 5.5/10

But i have little interest in watching the sequel. I added it to my remainder pre-release, then added it to my list post release..... and I still have yet to click play....... maybe by the end of the year
