I remember when this happened but watching this documentary you find out all kinds of things you didn't know. That cac bitch was a racist crazy bitch. And she was unrecognizable in court, I was like wtf? Smh! Lol Felt bad for the sistas kids though, losing their mom like that, just sad.
My wife watched this and told me about it. I refuse to watch it.
Man we talked about this in the group chat….shit had us all emotional….this was a crazy watch. A good but sad one.

Nobody failed anybody. If AJ just had a little bit of objectivity she would still be alive. You have a neighbor who is clearly unhinged and super Karen. Sit your children down tell them don’t none you ever go over there and play no more. Stay out her way. I get there was a huge community sense on that neighborhood and all the kids were of similar age and played together. But as a parent if I peep a neighbor is doing too much it is my responsibility to shield my children from said neighbor. Everything was caught on fucking body camera

I'm not gonna speak on what they should've done, I'll just say what I would've done and recommend the same for others.
If it were my kids, I would tell my kids that I don't want to go to prison over bullshit. Meaning if she talks to my kids wrong or touches them, then she's gonna make me hurt her.
And I'd go to prison.
So to prevent any of that, do not go on her property or near that woman's apartment. If I see or hear about you near that woman's apartment you'll have issues.
The whole time I watched I just said "Why don't they just tell the kids not to go near her apartment"?
The woman had issues because even when the kids were in the field next to her that's not her property she had problems. That's on her, if she couldn't deal with the kids making kid noises then move.
But my responsibility is with and for my kids, and my kids would've been nowhere near that woman or her apartment.
It was a tough watch. Especially seeing the kids being told their mother passed away
The fucked up part is that crazy bitch was always looking to engage with the kids!
She would go out of her way to try to make contact with them.
I agree though, telling your kids not to have anything to do with, don't antagonize her silly ass, etc, etc, would have been a must!!!

She was definitely a miserable sack of shit who wanted to have an issue with the kids. The fact that she wanted to engage with them made the tempers flare and was the reason that there was hate.

No I’m not blaming her what I’m saying is that if you can sit on your couch and come down to the conclusion that she is miserable crazy and racist. The neighbor next door should also deduce that and tell her kids y’all don’t go over there playing. Stay clear of that woman side of the grass. How many times did they Karen call the cops? How many unhealthy interaction did they have on body cam. We all know she was unhinged why not stay clear of her side of the neighborhood. Thankfully she didn’t blindly shoot one of the children
Precisely, I’ve been in similar situation were kids were being kids but I never heard no adults redirecting the kids. You know what I did. Told my kid I don’t want you going over there playing no more if the grown folks on that side think that aggressive behavior is okay.
She had no right to blindly shoot through her door and kill a single mother of 4 however all this could’ve also been avoided if AJ simply redirected her kids away from the racist, crazy, Karen side of the street
It's not victim blaming, it's called being a responsible parent and keeping your kids and yourself out of harms way.
We've all acknowledged that the woman was racist and crazy, and the kids also stated that they knew that she had a gun. So it's best to keep oneself and their kids away from her.
Regarding the courts, nothing that was said about the case and the courts. Just of the keeping the kids away from her and her apartment.
But regarding the courts. She was angry and not in fear of her life when she shot through the door so she was definitely in the wrong.
Which is why us niggas think that they made the right decision in convicting her.
the reason that Ajike went over there was because she was told that Susan had the kids tablet and she had just thrown roller skates at the kids
what exactly would you have done as a parent...
I'd call the police and inform them that Susan attacked my child by throwing the tablet and roller skates at them.
Because if I go over there angry bad things are like to happen.
That was my response thinking logically and in hindsight.
Realistically if she threw stuff at my kids I would've went over there screaming and got shot through the door too.
Except I would've gotten shot multiple times because I would've kicked down the door.
It Definitely could've been avoided!
Maybe not the final scenario because that night the kids didn't do anything wrong, but just as a whole.

Yeah someone said the police failed her I don’t agree with that. This old white bitch pulled the trigger and she did it thinking she would get away with it on stand your grown laws. Easily could’ve been a child she shot at.
I guess I don’t understand where the kids were playing…they wasn’t on her property correct? She doesn’t own the sidewalk.
I don’t know what they could’ve done by law.
