I've watched this shit like 6 times trying to see what niggas are talking about with Ness, but I am not seeing him landing the haymakers that you cats are talking about. I see a very consistent flow with a sprinkle of nice lines while almost every line that Solomon is saying is quotable.

you happy? this is him over a beat. In these battles, they flow to the rythym of the listening audience. It's called TIMING. Comedians and actors use it all the time.
I'm a fan of the philly cadence, and I think Philly MC's and their accents go best over beats.
I fux wit Ness, I really do. I think he got at J Millz on the show... And Millz was a top echelon dude, so I guess they figured he could move to SOlomone. But that comes down to a match of styles, cuz SOlomon makes you look stupid if all you got is gun and drug talk.
