SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST
"The strong shall cull the weak from the bosom of this earth"
*dead*
arctic!
you arent talking about yourself are u
I just paid $760 for a 91 Toyota Camry. Why sell your shit at a loss? unless it's been declared undrivable put it on the curb and see if someone will give you more for it. People who pay $1,000 or less for a car are expecting troubles. They won't think any less of you for the high mialage, tricky transmission, or non existent catalytic converter (especially if you're in a no smog state). They just want a bucket who can get them on their next road trip or help them shore up their girlfriend.
If you have a weekend or two to spare then make this your goal. If so you'll make a couple hundred off an easy transaction.
In reality, you can't acquire a positive mental attitude simply by standing in front of a mirror and reciting self-energizing slogans, force-feeding your mind with positive thoughts, or heartily shaking people's hands (while grinning ear to ear) and loudly exclaiming "GREAT!" when asked how things are going for you. This kind of synthetic positive mental attitude cannot bring about success.
By contrast, a real] positive mental attitude can play a major role in one's success but such an attitude is a result in being prepared. In other words, a true positive mental attitude is possible only through one's having the ammunition to back it up. You develop a positive mental attitude by being good at what you do, by being prepared, by understanding the realities of what it takes to succeed, and by having the self-discipline to base your actions on those realities.
Hence the success cycle is self-perpetual: The more prepared a person is, the more confident he becomes, which translates into a natural positive mental attitude which in turn increases his chances of success. You can set all the goals you want, but I can guarantee that you won't achieve them if you're unprepared. A positive mental attitude requires preparation and the two of them work in concert to help you achieve your goals.
Sooooo, I guess the answer to this thread is "Yes".
regardless if this is just the net or not...its still not funny if someone really feels that way about themselves![]()
Yup. . . thats him alright
Real talk though, I can understand why he feels the way he does...I was ther once.
The thing ya gotta realize is that being successful is a result of having your priorities straight...prime example, why even Date, if you are broke? It's just a waste of time and energy, if you broke you should b workin 3 jobs, nigga you don't even need to sleep!
Secondly, your unemployed, so why do you even need a car? Even if you did have a job you could always take public transporation. $500 for a yearly bus pass > Thousands of dollars for a piece of shit car + Maintenance, Gas, Tickets etc.
As far as your music career, there's either two reasons you failed:
lack of self evaluation
or
lack of persistence
nobody is a born prodigy at anything in life....most niggas are be garbage in the begining...but with practice they get better
just like ANY AQUIRED CHARACTERISTIC IN LIFE. . some ppl are more inclined towards a certain skill. . .whether it's dexterity, hand to eye movement, perfect pitch, charisma, or articulateness....
some niggaz is gonna pick up on shit easier than others obviously
but not EVERYBODY will be great with practice....
What would I reccommend? I recommend you go on a 7 day water fast. . . why?
If you can control something as natural as your eating habits, then you can control anything in life. . .
And I also recommend you run atleast 2 miles a day, and lift weights for atleast 45 mins every day. Doing that will build discipline, and plus when you see you're making progress, it will teach you why being persistent towards your goal is essential. It will also build your confidence/self esteem.
If I had been going through all of this at 21 years old it would have been understandable. At 31 it's life.
