Hey I used to charge big money for this information but I'm dropping it here for free so don't sleep on this.
http://gsaauctions.gov and
http://www.firstgov.gov/shopping/shopping.shtml
You can find all the auctions you can handle out on both sites. The second one will point you in the direction of FBI,Tax,DEA, and state auctions.
Lastly if you it bidforassests.com they also list a bunch of gov auctions and land auctions.
When I had more time I would bid on lots of computers fix them if needed and then resell in the paper not ebay. I would sell each from $75 to $150 dollars. Laptops were $250. Some months around the time the most offices upgrade I would clear between $8000 to $10,000, but some months I wouldn't make shit. Most auctions you can win on the GSA website for under $300. They don't ship so you will have to pick it up yourself as these are gov locations. I'm in MO so I would hit Tx,AR, IL for really good stuff I would take a couple of trips to denver as they have good computer stuff from GSA. My best auction flip was I pallet of dell computers older GS1's PII that I got for $25. There were 6 computers total, but when I got there they forgot to tell me they didn't add the laser printers on along with a cisco 2400 router and a case of memory and two new harddrives. I sold all of it for somewhere around $2000 in about a week
Anyway happy bidding and check the site often they ad stuff everyday.
