Need Help With Annoying Windows Vista Issue

Every so often Vista will re-arrange the order of how I have my folders & files set as well as the viewing size on them. I end up having to manually adjust the settings just to have Vista randomly rearrange the folders & files again. Is anyone else having this problem & if so how did you resolve it?

ever heard of windows XP?
I never had that issue with XP at home or on any pc I ever looked at at any of my IT jobs. And if you're implying that I should be running XP now to avoid this issue then that's a no go. I'm running w/ 8GB of ram & XP-64 has too many compatibility issues to make it worth my time.

I'm IT too & I still avoid Vista. All my systems have 3GB RAM. no issues. Vista is still just XP with a lot of makeup.

I'm mainly a Linux guy, but I don't bash Windows nowhere as much as some Windows users do. Vista is OK w/ me. 9 out of 10 times, it's the person between the chair and the keyboard.

yeah i hate when vista does that with my folders and files
i usually like to view my files with the date created
so I can remember the timeframe of when or what time i used the file
vista idiot programmers reset the properties of each file after every use, so if you searching for mp3 or videos the folder properties change completely, i hate that shyt:angry:

Ryokurin thanx 4 the tweak links
