my wife loves this show, to me it was kinda corny with their approach on stuff.

I'm saying though....and people swear the comedy goes hand in hand but I'll be damned if it does. Curb has had me in tears at times.

Larry David is like George constanza raw and uncut.
Y'all say this shit and while I haven't seen enough to disagree with this opinion....the show, the other characters, the little corny music....just never could get with it like I could Curb.

Let's face it. Whites don't watch the show and they are the numbers. Especially that 18 to 49 segment. On a whole they're somewhat prejudice and stay away from Black TV.
I thought the dude that plays the brother was funny. Divine was the worst character. Jarrod is an excellent stand up comedian. Not too funny on this show. Always portrayed as the smartest one. Grier is talented. But my reason for watching...

Just found out about this show on Netflix and shit is funny to me. Fucked up it's gone. What I like about it is they always manage to make shit a joke. Some say it's 'preachy,' but they always end up to make a joke out of what they are talking about.
I didn't like the show at first, but it grew on me and reminded me of my own fam...

I watched it..didn't laugh, but good for him. The irony is that he took a David Chappelle approach and got up there and basically said fuck the HFPA. Good for him.
He also missed one more thing, he got picked because he's black AND gay. Lets not forget that.
