NBA Season is Returning This Year!!!!!!!

Steph doing what we expect him to do as a 2 time MVP
I get that he's still getting acclimated to the new team and all but...

With shooting like that i dont care how many triple doubles he gets.

Meanwhile John Wall is playing like he never was out injured for 2 years & is shooting a career best 48% from the field. I want to thank Washington for sending that 1st round pick to Houston too lol

@jack walsh13

Y'all boys about to play with 5 dudes or what?

As a Knicks fan, did you go this hard when Derrick Rose disappeared?

You can't be serious?

Wtf you think?

I don't care if you on my team or not

We grown men

Wrong is wrong

Also abandoning the knicks is much more reasonable act that i completely understand and sympathize with on a variety of different levels

Preserving our mental health is important

Wiggins locked Kawhi for 2 straight games but PG takes all the criticism even though he's quietly having a better year so far. All these anti-LeBron's be getting coddled and protected when they choke. Must be nice.

Very nice

This is what I mean by same energy.

Whenever Steph is brought up people talk about this person didn't play or this person did play

When kawhi is brought up the fact that he can't barely play a full season
Never won an mvp
And when he beat bron he was with multiple hofers and the heat physically broke down (wade bosh)

And when he joined the raptors who were already a playoff team ready made they had 3 dpoy on the court 1 most improved player and 2, gsw starters tore their ACLS during the series

It's just boardman got rings

Who should be compared to the goat of this generation?

The dude who did it from scratch? (Cause we not gonna act like klay and Draymond both were elite that 1st run and we not gonna act like harrison barnes wasnt starting and festus ezili played a major role on this loaded team)

Or this guy

I'll be back ... at some point... hopefully. Real talk.. i'll give him his props if he carries the team... it's something that he hasn't done... but maybe he'll prove that he COULD do it if he actually needed to. Season is long though.

He's carried a team before lol.

The revisionist in everyone has them acting like they knew who Draymond and klay thompson were that first season or that he didn't have an all time playoff run that first title run where he carried them

For reference the finals mvp was andre who didn't start the first few games gave up iconic numbers to lebron james and was the 2nd leading scorer 10 full points behind Steph with 16points a game

He's carried a team before lol.

Naw. He's been a great player on a team that's been about as complete as it gets and where others have consistently taken over in the Finals (thus all the Finals appearances with no MVP). This year is his first real team. I'm ready to eat crow if he can carry the team because I didn't and still have doubts he can do it for a full season.

It's no knock on Curry... because aint very many players in league history that can truly carry a team.

But that's just factually not true lol.
I'm not here to downplay anyone or anything.
The team only worked because of him which is why he was the MVP.

Andre didn't take over he didn't drop 37 when the series was 2-2 Steph did lol
Andre didn't stop Lebron from getting his all-time numbers

What Andre did was complete the small look the 2 center look slowed the game down too much
It sped the pace and then it was a wrap.
"Taking over" from a guy averaging 16 and giving up 40-13-15 lol
Nah

1st ring he carried and he's carried them before that to the playoffs as well we're acting like those didn't happen and that 1st run was the only time they'd made the playoffs
How do you think they made it BEFORE?

Bills might have just called it a long time ago though... Kerr probably needs to let him handle the ball now and not play off ball as much.

Ain't no might. It was true even when everyone was healthy he's a fucking GREAT POINT GUARD
This is how he even had claim to fame in the beginning Mark Jackson put the ball in his hands
Kerr only does it in spurts
After destroying the blazers and destroying the kings
He comes out against the clippers and TAKES THE BALL OUT OF HIS HANDS
they can't get it to him he can easily be guarded and doubled off the ball and make everyone else do it and sometimes they can and sometimes they can't thus is the nature of basketball

So his adjustment in the 3rd quarter of game 2 of the 2 game series is to give him the ball and he drops 38 and brings them back for the win

How many times does he have to STOP doing this shit and get 1 result and then do it and get the desired results before we ask is there some kind of disassociation from the truth going on lol

I don't think those are the same thing (MPV doesn't equal carrying the team). I don't think back to back Steve Nash was carrying the suns though he was definitely the key ingredient to their offense. But carrying your team is when a player or multiple key players go down and you carry the burden and still produce a similar winning percentage. You just up your scoring, rebounding, etc. Or you're already on a team where you're required to handle a disproportionate burden of a couple of even more of those things and sometimes on both sides of the ball.

That's not Curry. he'll undoubtedly have his chance this season because he absolutely will need to increase his scoring, assists, and defensive for the warriors to be a competitive team.

Maybe a scoring PG, but I think in order for the Warriors to really be competitive, he'd have to both score and distribute. He's rare had to do that. I'm not saying he can't do it, but I need to see him do it. He needs to give us more than 6 points per game or he's really just a shooting guard in a point guards body like AI.

I always narrow it to that because that's when people believe the warriors started making the playoffs
He's carried them before that before he was the MVP this was when people started paying attention to him and taking him seriously
He'd taken them to the playoffs without some of the major pieces that came when Kerr showed up
That's why I never judged Mark Jackson the Kerr curve he didn't have those pieces to make the team better but he STILL made the playoffs on Curry's play which is why people were upset he was fired in the first place.

He has consistently proved that when he has the ball he dishes and dimes have the handles can finish everywhere on the court
So there's nothing really to prove. The inexplicable philosophy is to use his greatness to have everyone else toss dimes and get easy shots
Like the only reason, Draymond can average his assists is because of Steph Curry lol

He's a true point guard he's been a true point guard he's shown for years before the 1st title run he was a true point guard.

this is just a regular pass from him i didn't have to dig to find it. took 2 seconds cause when he has the ball great dimes are a regular occurrence if dudes don't convert then it gets lost. He tosses dimes been tossing dimes and continues to when the coach decides he wants his point guard to point guard.

You know more than MOST what a coaches philosophy can do to a player across all sports.

That's why I want to see what happens. I'm shutting the fuck up after he dropped that 62 though.

My point is we already know what happens he did it before the MVP season people are acting like he was a rookie who won MVP and the ring and that's where it began lol
It's just that he didn't STAY there like his peers. He progressed instead of staying in the same place.
