You're not a supermax player...

Trade his ass, IMMEDIATELY. This covid spreading motherfucker should have grabbed that first offer. He will never get that kind of offer again, from ANY other team.

It’s not about trying to change an opinion of these fuckin devils. Sports is bullshit right now when you got players continuously catching this shit. A college player almost died on the court and nobody seems to care.

empty ass arenas. Playing for white owners for a bum ass ring and trophy doesn’t mean shit. I feel bad for Lebron the way they are using the fuck out this man. Nigga just played in October but so what? We got tv contracts to honor...they don’t want any more political talk in sports. It’s looking more like shut up and dribble.

@2 ONE 3 is onto something, let me go ahead and GTFOH!

Hes not better than LBJ. Just because a player wins an award doesn't mean that they are better or worse than the other players. Just means they had a great year and their team did as well. He might be better defensively right now than LBJ, but offensively hes not; being able to control or dictate the game hes not, and will never be. But thats ok. He is good just needs to be in the right situation; just like the majority of star players. But yea the Bucks are handicapped and I think they have to win either this year or next. Think about their team in 2 years :smh:

I know

but you remember how these nba twitter streets were talking that sh*t...

in 2 years?

Yeah its gonna be tough

they got either be willing to go OVER the cap and take the penalty tax

Or they BETTING on Boston slipping

which is a GOOD BET

and then we can go down the list

Knicks nope

Indiana?

Olidepo? Nah

Charlotte? HAAAA!!!!!!

Toronto.. I NEVER EVER sleep on their GM but not likely

Now Atlanta? Could they FINALLY do something?

Brooklyn could be a LEGIT PROBLEM for at LEAST 2 years

and its the Heat who look set up for an extended SOLID run for the next 4 years EASY. (barring injury etc)

And do NOT sllep on Daryl and Doc in Philly

I think they gonna DO SOMETHING.

So right there

I'm SURE I left some teams out but right THERE?

I can SEE Giannis LOGIC

"I got paid I got a TEAM not SCRUBS the East is weaker than the West...

I gotta take this team on my back

even if I get to the Finals TWICE and LOSE

Bucks can't BLAME me (since apparently how the fans feel about him is really important to him)"

Sources: Houston Rockets expand trade talks beyond James Harden's preferred teams

The Houston Rockets are increasingly expanding trade discussions on All-NBA guard James Harden beyond his preferred destinations of Brooklyn and Philadelphia, sources tell ESPN.

Several playoff-caliber teams in the Eastern and Western conferences tell ESPN that they're finding increased comfort in committing high-level trade assets in talks to acquire Harden. The Rockets have ongoing discussions on several fronts and have been communicating with Harden about those scenarios, sources said.

Several teams tell ESPN that they're feeling less inhibited about trading for Harden without an assurance that he'd re-sign once he can become a free agent in two years.

While the Sixers have signaled a willingness to include All-Star guard Ben Simmons in trade packages for Harden, those talks have come nowhere close to a deal, sources said. The Nets are limited by the Rockets' interest in their personnel, and likely would need a third team to emerge in talks, sources said. So far, the Rockets steep asking price of young players and pick hasn't moved any of their discussions into an advanced stage.
The Rockets are planning to start the season next week with Harden sharing the backcourt with John Wall but are exhibiting a desire to teams that they'll move on completing a deal as soon as possible, sources said.

Harden, a three-time scoring champion and the 2018 NBA MVP, did not report to Houston until Dec. 8 -- two days after the Rockets began team practices. He missed the Rockets' first two preseason games, and he acknowledged that he is "in catch-up mode" with game conditioning and learning new Houston coach Stephen Silas' systems.

Harden, 31, asked for a trade prior to training camp, despite the Rockets offering him a two-year, $103 million contract extension -- on top of the three-years, $133 million still owed him, sources told ESPN.

"I can only focus on right now, and for me, the best James Harden is making sure I'm in shape," Harden told reporters on Wednesday. "Like I said, I hadn't even had an opportunity to play 5-on-5. Individual workouts, when you do individual basketball training, is great, but as every NBA player can agree, there's nothing like 5-on-5 training, the physicality, making reads and things like that. Yesterday for my first time being out there, I felt good, and that's exciting."

NBA distributing money for social initiatives

A new NBA season will tip off Tuesday, but the league's mission to support empowerment for the Black community, as demonstrated in the Orlando, Florida, bubble, hasn't been forgotten.

The NBA board of governors in early August announced a $300 million initial contribution to establish the NBA Foundation, dedicated to creating greater economic empowerment in the Black community.

The first grants are being distributed from the NBA owners' pledge to give $30 million annually over the next 10 years through the foundation. A total of $2 million in inaugural grants for employment and career advancement were announced Thursday.

Seven organizations -- exalt (New York), Management Leadership for Tomorrow (Washington), Marcus Graham Project (Dallas), Operation DREAM (Milwaukee), TEAM Inc. (Oakland, California), The Knowledge House (New York) and the Youth Empowerment Project (New Orleans) -- were selected as recipients.

These organizations align with the NBA Foundation's mission to provide skills training, mentorship, coaching and development for high school, college and midcareer Black men and women in communities across the United States and Canada.

The purpose of the grants is to increase education and employment as well as enhance and grow the work of these organizations.
NBA senior vice president of player development Greg Taylor has been selected as the foundation's first executive director. He will begin his new role Jan. 4.

"As a proud member of the NBA family, I am honored to be selected to lead the NBA Foundation in its development," Taylor said in a statement. "During my time at the league, I have been inspired by the efforts of NBA players, teams and governors to advocate for change, and I look forward to using my experience working with non-profits to further our investment in the next generation of Black leaders."

The foundation's inaugural board of directors was named in October, including Sacramento Kings forward Harrison Barnes, New Orleans Pelicans governor Gayle Benson, Philadelphia 76ers forward Tobias Harris, Charlotte Hornets chairman Michael Jordan, Atlanta Hawks principal owner Tony Ressler, NBPA executive director Michele Roberts, NBA commissioner Adam Silver and NBA board of governors chairman and Toronto Raptors governor Larry Tanenbaum.

Damn Doc ain't wasting no time. Simmons gotta be one of the most overrated players in the league

Why are the 6ers trying to ruin my dream. I want to see Harden go to the Heat...

:fuckyousay::fuckyousay::fuckyousay::fuckyousay::fuckyousay:

I want to see Butler punch Harden in the face for dribbling the ball too much during a timeout..Make this happen please.

NBA reportedly investigating LA Clippers and Jerry West over Kawhi Leonard signing
Huge problem, or the league taking a look to cover bases?

A recent news report from TMZ has had potentially huge aftereffects, and it all relates to the LA Clippers.

The celebrity news organization released a story earlier this week about a man who claimed to be close to Clippers star Kawhi Leonard, and who is reportedly suing Jerry West for agreeing to pay the man $2.5 million — which he says he has not received — to successfully help get Leonard to the Clips.

Lest you think this came completely out of wholecloth, the allegation is apparently serious enough that the NBA is planning to investigate West and the team, per a report Thursday from The Athletic’s Sam Amick.

Obviously, an announcement of an investigation itself does not necessarily mean guilt or innocence. You investigate to look into things and see if wrongdoing was done. In this case, the specific allegation pertinent to the NBA would appear to be the Clippers paying for benefits beyond merely the contract signed with Leonard.

But what could happen if the NBA finds wrongdoing? That remains to be seen. NBA fans have been speculating wildly what it could mean, but for now we’ll have to wait for some more reporting and of course, any official word from the league itself.

I understand where you're coming from but people are going to work facing exposure at "non-essential" workplaces since Covid started. Y'all keep saying it's the owners but let's not act like the players don't want to play. Life just doesn't feel right but either we shut all the way the fuck down or we make money and last time I checked, no mortgages or rent got canceled until this is over.
No question players wanna play and get paid. Not mad at them for it either.

Yes

Yes they are.

But the Dolona Virus won't let Marv come back.

Clyde is one of the greatest Knicks and greatest nba players ever.

He also is quite bitter a hater and out or touch with the modern athlete

But I'm a recovering Knicks fan

My sponsor said i need avoid triggers like this please refrain from including me

Its just the first missed step into the neverending dark abyss that is the ny knickerbockers
Real shit right here. He reminds me of Tim McCarver in baseball. Both get off my lawn type muthafuckas. Absolutely hate them. :smh:

None of this would’ve been exposed if West didn’t snake dude and pay him his money! If they had a deal, then it’s a deal and he should’ve paid!

Yes it’s illegal, but he delivered Kawhi. Kawhi’s worth more than 2.5 million to the Clippers.

The should’ve paid the money, now look.

Wow

This was a really ignorant thing to say.

Nah

but I think there's probably more context to it and just a partial quote

I heard beforehand he liked the Kobe, Timmy and Dirk situations and how they stayed with one team their whole careers and are synonymous with the franchises
