It's such a subjective and relative argument. I mean I see what you are saying though. I think there are so many variables to it. KD was a monster in that series.. Hell what Steph did this year was crazy. And you are right LBJ can't do it either. But I just wanted to take him out of the conversation because dudes be being super extra about it....

Oh I know...you can't even talk with a Lebron Stan.....it'll fuck around and make a Lebron fan sound like a LEbron hater....Lebron still my #2 and the only reason he is is because I Just don't think he can shoot like KD but he has those big shot moments in him.

Steph for me is tough because he's a point guard. So he doesn't effect the game as much as big guys like KD and Lebron can who can snag me 8-10 boards. Steph gonna just effect the game in assists and scoring. So its kind of unfair to him somewhat even though for his size he's not a bad rebounder.

I Think the top 5 right now is looking like KD, Harden, Steph, Lebron, Giannis or Kawhi.....I'd lean towards Giannis but gotta be respectful to Kawhi there too.
 
Where I think Philly has really struggled has been player development - that's obvious to say but its also true
development and retention

Their tank took so long they couldn't pay the players they developed IE: RoCo, Jerami Grant, etc. But to say it didnt work is something I don't agree with, as they've been "champ contenders" for 2 years now and will be next year. Their lack of development of Ben Simmons among some other players is the biggest issue (along with the length) of their tank

Creating a culture of winning rather then losing.

That's why the Hawks are such a good example - They plateaued, bottomed out and got Trae Young, opened a ton of cap space, didn't hesitate to remove Lloyd Pierce (culture of losing), and then they got hot

now they are a young team with a young superstar getting INCREDIBLE playoff experience, with a stable of really really good players

When I saw the IG all he had was white men and white women on it.....but you could tell he was closer to the white men and the white women were more like friends and shit.....smh.

Kyrie was on the court in the finals. Played in the finals.

So yea he had knee tendinitis but the injury didn't happen until the finals. At again they lost period. So fact remains when said player has no help eventually said player will lose. Just like Steph Curry did, just like KD did, just like LBJ did this year. Period!

Its a debate show Shannon and many other people have said it was dumb for Skip and the Lebron haters to always say Lebron still should’ve won no matter what. The issue I think Lebron Stans have is that they think all of these people are the same. :lol: Everyone did not hate on Lebron or knock him for the players he had around him.

Steph is the only pg that effects the game like they can. And he's the only player that can play with anyone of them and still be dominant and not take nothing away from his other great players. Nobody can say that about other players though. @Amajorfucup old bitch ass loves to talk about Covid-P3 and the Suns. But didn't the Suns just win kinda easily without his bitch ass against the Clippers? Shows you how good of a team they have. They are better with him but they still can win without him. People jump and switch sides all the time. It's a difference from stating an opinion and being wrong. For example I stated I thought Beal was better than Booker. That was like last year or 2 years ago. Back then that look like a solid opinion; now not so much :giggle: but I'm not switching sides or changing the narrative for players. And that's the problem with fans. KD is a super sensitive dude. I still don't see nothing wrong with him going to GS or leaving to Brooklyn. I thought dude was dumb for leaving because I said why would he want to play with Kyrie. And of course Kyrie got hurt. And Kyrie will stay hurt watch. KD being sensitive to me, doesn't effect how I feel he is on the court. Which I've stated arguably the greatest scorer ever. So yes people use narrative to fit their opinions. None of these players is as good at basketball as LeBron James is. Jordan is prolly the closest, but his career will end up being the shortest. As far as off the court, MJ and Kobe are the only 2 you can compare and LeBron been a superstar longer than either one of them were in the game in the social media era, the toughest one yet.



KD had no reason to lose this even with Kyrie going down. As I stated earlier LeBron lost Kyrie in Game 1 of the ECF in 2015 and still managed to sweep a 60 win Hawks team 4-0 to get to the Finals then went 6 games against the Dubs with Kyrie going down AGAIN in Game 1 of the Finals. KD can't get by Giannis and Middleton in round 2? The same Giannis that's been gettin clowned as a 1 move guy? Unacceptable. KD has got to find a way. You can't lose a Game 7 at home in your prime like that playing with league MVPs by your side.
