NBA Season is Returning This Year!!!!!!!

Great defense by the Lakers, at least as good as you can do on Steph.
you love changing what you post dont you; you posted the Lakers played good defense and alluded to them playing it on steph; no they didnt; they was guarding him with 3 and 4 players at a time and he still dropped 37 on them....

Bruh, if you can’t comprehend what I say then don’t quote me.

Lakers played great defense and caused 20 turnovers. Played tough aggressive defense and their guards were defensive pests most of the game.

In my original post I even mentioned that they did as good as you can do on Steph, I literally fucking credited him and you still mention him getting 37 points?

Bruh, if you just want to argue and type bs please find someone else to reply to.

Im saying their turnovers wasnt about catching the ball; most of the turnovers were GS trying to make dumb passes or not good passes; most of the turnovers where unforced; really wasnt about the Lakers defense; it was about GS playing sloppy in the 3rd and 4th quarter....

Ok

I always wondered do that really work.
why not do your best and defend him straight up, if he gets 50 ok.... but playing smarter at the other position probably would work better in the long run.
But they won so it is kool I guess
There is no easy way to play Steph; Lakers won because of GS turnovers, not because of their defense....

Lakers fans, does this win feel encouraging or does this cause concern?

I’m encouraged by their defense, but they need to be more fluid on offense and wake the fuck up earlier in the game!

I’m definitely not beating on my chest because they squeaked that win out.

Why are we calling him a point forward?
This isn't even directed at you

When Draymond tries to make passes on the move what happens?

Draymond stands there and passes to either steph who is open or people who are open because everyone went to steph

when you force him to dribble and make the same plays he fucks up

when you play him to NOT shoot he doesn't shoot when he has easy shots.

Just go to the rim already and get fouled or make a layup its wide open everyone else is guarding steph.

I guess he gets that title because they run the offense they him often. By run I mean let him pass the ball, then again is that running the offense....ummmmmmm naw

I don’t know, I guess if he would bring the ball up every time

I think you have to credit LA's defense though. Ruso forces a turnover on steph and the Lakers got after passes that would normally find the warriors cutting player and went the other way.

I don't want to take anything away from the lakers

I do want to point out that if draymond would shoot the rock instead of trying to force passes to people in the paint while the lakers are playing him for the pass a lot of the crucial turnovers that fueled the comeback don't happen.

Damn Rachel Nichols has some serious man hands

It's an outdated model that only works when steph is on the court and the only thing kerr knows how to do
we got easy shots every time coming down with the pnr every single time the point guard comes down runs pnr they double him every single time and then we get an easy shot

or the iso and steph gets any shot he wants and when he started cooking the guards 1 on 1 they started bringing double teams out 30 feet to get the ball out of his hands

it will always come down to can everyone else make easy shots and the answer tonight was not enough of them.

I agree, I’m not saying it’s all on the Lakers. But defense has a lot to do with turnovers. Whether the team’s getting in passing lanes or playing aggressive.

But according to dude, it’s just not because the Warriors are careless with the ball like

Yup, it’s easy to play the passes lanes when you know the pass is coming and don’t have to worry about a player being in the triple threat position...

Dude don’t even be in a two point position

His ass be in that single threat position
“just pass”

Nah you can’t give the Lakers any credit! If the Lakers weren’t on the court as the Warriors were just practicing offensive drills, they would’ve had the same number of turnovers.

I would say its tied together so its tough
I think seeing people playing you to pass and you being stubborn and passing the ball anyway right into the spot where they are saying you are going to pass it is stubborn
like it'd turn from great defense to horrible defense if he just took layups lol

Nigga do you understand basketball; clearly you dont; there are different types of turnovers; unforced and forced; you keep trying to act like the Lakers played great defense; no they didnt; GS missed wide open shots and majority of their turnovers in the 3rd and 4th quarter(where the game was decided) was unforced

“We had five turnovers at half, and I think 10 in the third quarter ... we got away from ourselves. I didn’t even think our turnovers were forced,” head coach Steve Kerr said following the loss. “I thought we just made careless decisions with the ball, and that’s what turned the game. Loved the way our guys responded in the fourth, coming back to make big plays and take the lead and give ourselves a chance to win, but we just couldn’t quite pull it off.”

This says it all right here....

Unforced turnovers is not on the defense; as a matter of fact, unforced turnovers are not even credited to the defense in efficiency ratings and advance stats and metrics; and all that other geek shit; GS missed wide open after wide open shots; is that good defense by the Lakers??? come on dude; did you watch the game???

Kerrr Sat Steph so that Bron and AD could get minutes against the 2nd unit in the 4th quarter of the play in game they had slight control of to allow the lakers to take the lead

nobody gonna talk about THAT
Kerr isn't either he's going to talk about turnovers and not making sure the lead is secure for their initial run
Kerr is an idiot in regards to his subs; he always has been with that...

Shots are made and miss; GS made enough shots to win that game; that game was lost because of bad decisions with the ball in the 3rd and 4th quarters; and the refs stop calling fouls on the Lakers....

You don’t know basketball and it’s pointless having a conversation with you.

Unforced Turnover

Unforced turnovers are things like dribbling the ball off your foot and losing it out of bounds or to the other team, throwing a pass over your teammate’s head with the ball sailing out of bounds, or any kind of rules violation. These unforced errors can have a big effect on a game and many times can be the difference between winning and losing.
