I think Chris wanted to go the the Suns because of low expectations. They make the playoffs and the season was a success but them being the 2nd seed is a great season even if they lose in the first round because this is Booker and Ayton's first playoff. Chris still looks a hero because they got them this far. Same with OKC last year. Nobody can say Chris can't get it done when it counts cause he's not on a contender.

Just imagine how much better he would be if he was darkskinned and from a broken home? having a dad in the NBA and light skin held this cat back from being truly great.
No one can ever say that adding CP3 to your roster doesn't instantly make your squad better. I thought he should have got more recognition for last year, but the shutdown, restart, and bubble kinda killed the narrative. Before the year started everyone thought he'd opted out and the Thunder would be a lottery team. But he kept them competitive all year.

Former Los Angeles Lakers center Shaquille O'Neal offered a list of the "four most unguardable players" in NBA history and failed to include current Lakers star LeBron James.

The list will no doubt cause fans to speculate that O’Neal is still perturbedabout being left off Jeanie Buss’ list of the five most important Lakers in history. Among the players on that list was James, who O’Neal pointed out is only in his third season with the team.
While O’Neal also stated that he had moved past Buss’ snub, his omission of James, the third-leading scorer in NBA history, doesn’t bolster O’Neal’s credibility in the matter.
The fact that O’Neal also ranked himself above another Lakers legend who played center, Kareeem Abdul-Jabbar, is another reason why his list is likely to be dismissed.
Even if the Blazers win, Lakers get the 7th seed, take on the Suns in the first round and Clippers in the 2nd or lose to GS in the 1st playoff game, get the 8th seed and don't play the Clippers until the conference finals, if they make it. I don't think the Lakers fear any teams out West.

Lot of celebrating going on for a 8th seed. Never seen this type of reaction for a "top 2 PG all time" caliber player. Guy came out and jacked 40 shots determined to get that scoring title from Bradley Beal tho.
The Clippers gonna fuckin' Clip. Denver tanked to avoid the Lakers at all cost. Lakers will win and what do the Clippers do? Lose to one of the worst teams in the League so the standings stay exactly where they are now. Lakers get the Sun in the 1st round & Nuggets in the 2nd round. Clippers have a repeat series with the Mavs. If Porzingis is playing, maybe the Mavs pull the upset. If the Clippers find a way to win then the Jazz in the 2nd round. 'Bron still wins. Silver is happy the Lakers/Warriors games will be headlining the play-in tournament.
