NBA Season is Returning This Year!!!!!!!

Raptors should pull the starters and go subs for the next 6 minutes to see if they could spark anything

Tough one to watch so far for Raptors fans.

Boston gonna close out the series on Wednesday? Or Toronto gonna somehow even it out and force a 7th game?
I think Toronto's done. They look like they wanna go home. Remember they been down in Florida since early June. Before any other of the teams got there by at least 2 weeks. It's taking a toll.

Damn. That's a good point. Quite some time to be there.

The Canadian broadcast team made a good point too ... Lowry's done quite a good job carrying them. But if he has an off game, he needs better support from his teammates. More need to step up.

Speaking of being away from home. Got a coworker who splits half her time in Canada & half in the US. Works days & afternoons. She hasn't been home since March. She's noted it's been wearing on her ...

Do y'all see how Denver plays old school basketball? It's a reason why this style of basketball has won the majority of the chips in nba history. Put your fucking big man on the block, Force people to double him, and watch how all the shooters wind up open. They're not even that talented but it just works because that's how basketball is meant to be played.

They have the oldest formula in the book. A big man that can score down low and a point guard that can make plays and shot.

You're right. Most NBA champions with the exceptions of the Heat squad and Warriors won using that formula.

They not gonna win with that old school style. D’Antoni revolutionized the run and gun 7 seconds offense Mark Jackson took it further, Steve Kerr ran with it. its been dam near 15 years since we had a post player win finals MVP. Even Paul Pierce won over KG. It sound good but won’t get it done. Cavs tried that with Drummond and Kevin love. Don’t work rules don’t favor them
No you haven't seen it because people don't develop the big man anymore. For example that cracka trash lopez in Milwaukee always plays at the three-point line and he's 7'2. This sorry Euro for Denver simply plays in the post and it opens everything up. If AD played like this the Lakers would sweep everybody.

Same with that 7 foot bum in Philly that hangs around the 3 point line.

And they fall on the ground all the time.

No question it's a factor.

I’ve realized something watching Pat Beverly.

If you act the part, make it look like you know what you’re doing and always look focused. Your teammates will never realize that you suck! :roflmao:

I'm sure they realize it in scrimmages

He's on the wrong side of 30 and has had a couple of injuries

Right now he's a chihuahua

He actually has a good post game. 7 footers now know how to shoot. That is how the game has changed. In the 90’s you had maybe 5 bigs that could really shoot from 3. Now everyone can shoot. Even javel McGee. He just don’t get the green light to shot it. But in any era what big could shot the 3 and also posted up? Even dirk loved the mid range. Dirk wasn’t gonna back you down and dream shake you and reverse lay up

That's the problem with him. He has a decent post-game that he rarely uses.

It's much more effective that his shooting ability.
