@King....they just ran around and jacked up shots. The pace was crazy with no defense. What energy was spent on defense?

So guys like Oscar, Wilt, & Russ didnt expend energy on defense? Wow, I've heard it all. And the old legends feel like today's guys walk the ball up the court at a snails pace because they lack skills and and run weak half court sets. Even with 3 point lines teams cant post 120 a game, but teams back then did it with ease. Even with the numerous TV timeouts, slower pace, and better travel conditions, Kidd and his contemporaries play less minutes. Imagine Phil Jackson going to Shaq in the 2000's and telling him to play every minute of every game including OT's and to never foul out. Do you think he could do it? I don't. Thats what was asked of a center like Wilt in that era. Imagine Byron Scott in the 2000's tell Jason Kidd to not just lead the league in assists, but to average over 30 a game, and he couldnt use 3 pointers to do it. Kidd would have no chance. You guys can hold on to make believe, I'll rely on the stats and accolades that were put up. If the 80's and 90's guys were so great they would have the "arcade numbers", the fact is, they don't so we have to overembellish their place in history.

I fux w/ CP3..

He aint on Magics Level, He aint Fuckin' w/ Stockton neither...Statically, Stockton and Magic will be top 2 IMO (and Stockton Ran into the GOAT and failed so I dont hold him not winning a championship against him)

I'd put him over Isiah IF he could lead his team to 2+ Championships as Isiah did.. Mind you Isiah Beat the Magic (Lakers) AND the Bird (Celtics) in his run to the Top...:smh: Dont know if Paul would be able to do that.

I'd put him over Oscar because he can Lead a team to the Playoffs at least.
