If the league does expand like that they will more than likely focus on international teams. London and Mexico City would definitely be two of the sites. Stern has always alluded to this.

If the NBA expanded overseas they'd need four teams at least. That way a team can come in on a four-six game road trip and fly back.

Add more teams so more bums can be 1 and done in college and hop to the NBA not with the aspiration to get better but just to get money and be satisfied with not winning but get to say that they're in the NBA?

I wish the NBA only had 16 teams. That's enough for every major market to have a team, and a few small markets.

Of course, I'm not looking at this from a business stand-point, and Stern DEFINITELY is.

At the same time, a much better product would be made available to the fans. It'd also decrease individual play, because superstars wouldn't be THAT much better than the second guy...

...and because defenses would be so much stronger, it'd, in a sense, FORCE team play.

first off the league is boring now with all the games they play. 2nd, if you add more teams that more channels and more problems for fans finding the channels to watch them games. A lot of games are not worth watching. The all-star weekend, playoffs and finals are the most popular games to watch in the nba.

New Jersey doesn't support the Nets because their stadium was waay out in west bumblefuck and they've sucked for the majority of their existence. The Jason Kidd era was more of a novelty. Had the Prudential Center been in existence when Kidd was leading the Nets they would've been #1 in the NBA in attendence. The NCAA tournament @ the Rock proved that.

They aren't supported now because they've cut all ties with New Jersey on their logos, merchandise, and uniforms. They only have attendence because their tickets are cheap and the Knicks charge an arm and a leg....

I'm all for expansion n all that more money longer season.But not 6 teams that's over kill maybe 4 then down the line another 2. But if u have teams already loosing money anually I don't know how they can add more teams.Ain't the hornets owned by the nba right now
